Thinking about another Attorney? Dont! Matt is a diamond among rocks. I tried 2 other attorneys, both started less expensive but quickly ballooned above his standard retainer and they did nothing. This man saved my bacon. He is fair, straight to the point and represented me aggresivley during mediation.. Highly recommended here is an Extra star * to make it 6 star service.

Mr.Gardner had been on my case for almost three years but that was not his fault. Harris County was so backed up because of covid and overwhelmed with cases. He stuck with me the whole time, showed for every court that was scheduled in my absence. Last week he got my felony dismissed and my misdemeanor time served with no fines. Very impressed with this attorney. Would recommend and hire him for future legal needs.

I hired Mr. Tyson back in 2021 for services. I can say I have NEVER found or encountered ANY attorney in the Houston area with the integrity and class such as Mr. Tyson. Matt Tyson and his firm were AMAZING!! This is the lawyer you want especially if you are a dad. He is tough and will absolutely fight for what is right for your child. He even gives you his own personal number so you can’t say that you couldn’t get ahold of him. He always responded back within minutes. Anytime that I hear someone going through a custody situation I recommend Matt Tyson. The one and only thing that I wanted this year, and for my life, Mr Tyson made it happen. My life and my son’s life are better because of him taking the time to fight for us. Believe me, the consultation fee is absolutely worth it and he is extremely ethical. He tries not to use your retainer, whereas other lawyers will bill you without showing you what they did and they will try to use more of your retainer on purpose. Matt Tyson is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY amazeballs. He deserves a few more stars but google only lets me put 5. I found him completely by accident when searching for family court lawyer about a year and a half ago now. I've had really bad luck with the few lawyers I'd had in the past and I really wasn't to optimistic with my prospects this go around, but I didn't see I had a choice in the matter at the time due to certain circumstances so I hired the first lawyer I could stand chatting with for more than 20 min and I'm really glad I did. Matt has not given me any reason to even doubt my decision once. He is quick to notify of any updates or information needed, but won't waste your time and money by reaching out if there's no new info (like if you're waiting for a court date that's 3 months out and you've already turned in all your information). He told me once he HATES repeat customers, so I did the only logical thing and rehired him for a separate case which we also won for the sole custody of my other children. Matt cares very deeply for all his clients and will bend over backwards to fight for you and what you want as long as it is feasible to do so. He will not tell you what to do, but will tell you what your options are. If something happens or comes up he is quick to respond and help to the best of his ability. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better lawyer and I refer him to everyone I know looking for a family lawyer.
