I’ve been a client with Stewart J. Guss Law Firm twice. Each time I have received excellent costumer services. I will always recommend SJG to my family and friends. The compassion and care you are shown from the first person you encounter to the last is beyond words. Being injured by someone else’s negligence is the worst and extremely stressful. Don’t add to your stress with the wrong attorney get the best in Houston Stewart J. Guss.

For veterans fighting their VA claims:
Not bad since my case wasn’t taken but do your research.
CCK won’t take your claim unless you have some really jacked up stuff going on so perhaps consider looking at many other law firms first before even calling them.
I am at 90% and have pending claims to potentially get over the hump to 100% and even then, they didn’t take my claim. Easily a mid-range 5-figure backpay.

Talked to them on the phone very vague on what type of help they can provide for a VA Claim. I have multiple injuries I have no clue on what injuries to go after. The guy told me that my VA letter is not final, but it is showing final.

Do NOT HIRE CCK if you have ANY PENDING CLAIMS with the VA. They will take your backpay from claims that they did ZERO work on, while taking forever to do what you hired them for. It took them OVER A YEAR to submit a TDIU claim on my behalf; and by the time they did, I was able to get MYSELF from 80% to 100%. They still had to audacity to take my back pay from something that I did prior to ever hiring them. The VA won't even think twice about sending them the money and they, as a greedy law firm, will be more than happy to take what they haven't earned.

I had fought for my benefits for over 12 years and got no where, I hired CCK and within 10 months I was rated 100% and received my back pay. Then CCK reviewed my case and decided I deserved more back pay and fought for me and got it as well. I highly recommend CCK for your VA benefits.

I have to disagree with the bad reviews. Veterans law group in La Jolla California had my case for 5 years and did absolutely nothing. I switched to Chisholm and Chisholm and they won my case in 2 years. Receiving my 100% now and they are working on the back pay. Remember folks they're dealing with the VA. The VA system is Delay, Deny and Hope You Die! Don't give up because that's exactly what they want you to do. I want to thank everyone at Chisholm Chisholm law firm for doing an outstanding job!

I wouldn't recommend. Very long process, hard to communicate & receive proper guidance and multiple changes in contact personnel. Awarded epically less than expected & still in pain. No one cares about me, only the money that can be capitalized off of other ppl pain & suffering. Deeply disappointed!
