Mekeisha was able to get the charge of Felony DWI with child under 15yo reduced to a Class A Misdemeanor 1st offense even though there was a lot of evidence against me she was able to negotiate and get the charges lessened. She was very supportive and kept me informed throughout the process.

After being charged with a felony (assault family member )in July of 23 I hired a lawyer to resolved my case. I was put on a protection order which meant I couldn't go home since the issue was with the wife. After protection order expired 60 days I went back home only to get the police called again on me resulting in another felony for violating bond condition. The lawyer I had at the time felt like wasn't doing anything to defend me,so I decided to let him go. When I first hired Mekisha Jane Walker it was due to a “aggravated assault” charge against my boyfriend, who’s now an ex and no longer part of my life. We got into an argument and I called the cops because I feared for my safety. Once they were on scene they believed my ex, who’s taller, bigger, and stronger than me that I tried to hurt him while it was him who put his hands on me so the cops believed him and I went to jail. At that point, I gave Mrs Mekisha a call and from the call alone she gave me confidence and knew right away she was very knowledgeable in her field, it was a no brainer to hire her. Once she was my Attorney she kept me updated, she fought for me in court like no other Attorney would. Long story short, i ended up getting two more felony’s due to the lies my ex would tell the cops and they would believe him and she got them all dismissed!! They could’ve wrongfully kept me in jail and let an actual criminal walk. After all was said and done, I can say with full confidence there is no other Attorney I would rather have fighting for me on that court than her!!! I am truly thankful for her hard work!
