I really appreciate Attorney JaPaula’s help with my case. She was very thorough with my options and guided me through my case for the best outcome! I was able to follow directions and got my case dismissed.

She was very helpful. Informative and understanding. She took the time out to find my court dates and to help me with my license and I really think her so much for being my attorney.

I would not recommend JaPaula Kemp for legal representation. In 2018 I contacted Attorney JaPaula Kemp regarding an incident of being illegally detained and physically assaulted by an employee at a well-known store chain in which I had to call the police. I met her the same day in her law office. After relaying what occurred during the incident, I signed a Letter of Representation/Contingency fee form and assured by Attorney Kemp she would contact all necessary parties (information of who, what, when was provided). In addition, Attorney Kemp requested I summarize the incident and submit directly to her via email to the provided email address - which I did. Long story short, several months went by and I NEVER received a phone call, text or email from the Kemp Law Office. I then called her office and sent another email to the provided email address requesting a professional courtesy return call - no response. To this date, nearly two years later I have NEVER received or had any communication returned from Attorney JaPaula Kemp. I feel if she didn't believe I had a case or if she didn't want to represent me then she should have communicated such. This was my experience. If you choose this attorney I wish you the best. FYI...I didn't follow up sooner because I know obtaining information takes time, plus every interaction you have with your attorney( phone call, email communication) are charged as attorneys fees.
