Convenient location and excellent communication.

I was charged with an extremely serious crime (2nd degree felony) of which my memory of committing was extremely hazy, but seemed to be extremely out-of-character to myself and everyone who knew me. When I put the pieces together of what I had been charged with, the severity and duration of the punishment if convicted, and the amount of time it would take to work through the judicial system, I felt that the quality of life that I had previously enjoyed would be totally crushed. I began to speak to a large number of attorneys around Houston and ultimately felt most comfortable trusting Nicole. Nicole had a rare combination of empathy and professionalism that helped moderate the stress and keep me from indulging the “worst-case” scenarios that kept playing in my head. Although very clear that the charges were serious and finding any sort of resolution would be a tall order, I began to work with Nicole’s office to assemble a grand jury package for a possible “no-bill”. Nicole also discussed the other possible outcomes and strategies in my case (pre-trial diversion, deferred adjudication, probation, etc.) and was extremely accessible any time I had questions and concerns. She was proactive in instructing me as to what materials would be best for my grand-jury packet while also stressing that the “no-bill” was only a possibility. We went through several months of court appearances – all the while, I am walking on eggshells due to being out on bond. Several months after my arrest, I had a court date and left Houston that evening for business travel. Nicole advised that I would likely have my case brought before the grand jury within the upcoming weeks. When I returned about two weeks later, I expected to be informed that I had been indicted and that we would begin discussing plea bargains and probation terms. To my amazement, I discovered that the grand jury had returned a “no-bill” and that the case against me would be dismissed! Further, my arrest and all records related to the charges would be eligible for expungement. I cannot begin to express the gratitude that I feel towards Nicole. It was through her skill and effort that we were able to achieve the best possible scenario in my case and I am not sure that any other attorney in Houston would have been able to achieve the same result. Nicole has truly saved my life, and I could not imagine a more professional or effective attorney.

Wow!!! Nicole is just the Best Attorney you could have by your side. We hired her on a Federal case for my husband and she bailed him out on his first Bond hearing. Nicole and her staff are VERY Profesional and kept us up to date on everything that was going on with the case, then being on Bond for almost 3 years she dismissed 3 counts and got him a Probation!!! So unfortunately I didn't call her first. After paying a less than competent lawyer almost the same for making my situation worse and then the same lawyer referred me to another "criminal lawyer" who had a misconduct judgement against him. Needless to say my first lawyer posed and presented herself as a criminal lawyer- she was not and I am sure she realized it because brought in the other worse lawyer. So after firing them both, my trust was very shaken. I choose Nicole for her experience with the DA and in that specialty of criminal case. She and her team did not disappoint! They meet with me and my family and gave us hope back. What should have been dismissed from the beginning had me ended up charged. Nicole got charges reduced from felony to misdemeanor. That alone was worth it. Her fee was very reasonable for all her work. Considering what I got from first atty, Nicole gave so much more in her service. So she earned my trust, showed myself and family compassion, and continued to help me after sentencing. Thank you Nicole and team, you all have restored my faith that lawyers can care, be knowledgeable, and fight for their clients.

Nicole was my defense attorney in a very public criminal case, and was a source of calm compassion throughout a very stressful process. She was the voice of reason and my family and I always knew that she had our best interests at heart. Through no fault of her own I went to prison, and she continued to offer counsel to me and my family and to work on my behalf, resulting in my being freed on probation after six months. It would have been easy for her to have considered the case closed, and my family had at one point decided to not pursue a probation filing, but Nicole continued to work for me and I am out today because of her efforts. In short, she is a great ally to have in your corner and will work very hard to achieve the best outcome no matter the situation. I hope to never have need for her services again, but if I do she'll be the first person I call.

Nicole was able to avoid my going to trial. However, even if I had to go, I had confidence in her ability to get a favorable verdict. She was prompt in returning phone calls and emails. I am highly satisfied in her quality of work.
