Never heard back from them. Unprofessional!

I consulted with Marcos De Hoyos of Wiley-Wheeler, P.C. (Houston Office). I was encouraged by another attorney to utilize Super Lawyers to find an attorney. Well, I was very happy after my consultation with Mr. De Hoyos. He allowed me to explain and express my feelings regarding my employment issue. He explained the laws, how they apply and the process while setting expectations. He appears very knowledgeable and professional, so I am excited to have him represent me during this ordeal. I am confident he will bring about the best possible outcome.

I consulted Kalandra on what I thought was a wrongful employment termination, and although she agreed that the way my company went about it was unethical and perhaps poorly executed, she said due to TX employment laws, I did not have a strong case because it was not unlawful. I greatly appreciated her honesty and integrity. I then asked her to review the employment separation agreement sent to me. She answered all questions, explaining in detail the commitments I would be agreeing to if I signed the agreement. She also suggested adding additional terms that would serve me better and said to just ask to have them added to the agreement, rather than paying her a fee to negotiate them on my behalf. I like and respect Kalandra and above all, I trust her!

Very professional, understanding, listens and assisting the best way possible. I recommend. My appeal hearing was canceled but I was glad working with this office for piece of mind!

Having to consult with an attorney can be stressful. However, I found Ms. Wheeler to be exceptional in the way she asked probing questions to better understand my situation. I was immediately put at ease. She was able to very quickly understand my previous role and all applicable facts.
