These guys are Fantastic! They took great care of my family.

Mr. Slate is professional on every level. He handled my case with the highest concern not only for me, but for my sons as well. I had absolute trust in his understanding of the law and legal system and he made dealing with the court system a smooth process for me during this very stressful time. He is calm, upfront, sincere, respectful, compassionate to his clients , and most of all passionate about his work. I cannot recommend Mr. Slate and his amazing team highly enough if you are seeking legal counsel.

My experience during one of the most difficult times in my life was nothing short of outstanding. Dennis Slate handled my child modification. From our initial meeting I knew I had met the man I needed to help protect my son. Mr. Slate demonstrates high confidence and morals. I have recommended him many times since my modification ended and will continue to recommend him. I wish I had known about him in my initial divorce proceedings. Mr. Slate and the entire firm work as a team and are absolutely wonderful. Their board-certified attorneys, proactive paralegals, attentive legal assistants and friendly support staff are the best team to have around during any family legal process. Their entire staff assists throughout the process to make the entire chaotic process understandable. We knew we were in great hands. My husband and I felt absolutely comfortable with how our modification case was handled. Although they are busy office, I am sure our family's case was not the only one on their radar, but they provided us with great service as we dealt with a custody modification.

About $8,000 didn't get us very much. Not worth it in my opinion.

Just went through a truly difficult divorce- I am eternally grateful for the services of Robert Kuehm -and the team at Slate and Associates for getting me through successfully. The other side sadly tried to play many many dirty tricks. Mr. Kuehm never lost sight of the endgame, while remaining sympathetic to my needs, and meticulous, firm and ethical in his dealings with the other side. I’ve talked to many people who have had to deal with divorce lawyers. Listening to them, and comparing with my experiences, I have been made even more aware at how lucky I was to have Robert Kuehm. I was always kept apprised of communications. He was always thoroughly prepared for depositions and court. He certainly always listened to my many concerns, and responded with solid advice, and always a game plan that made sense. Combative divorce is truly awful - a roller coaster of accusations and emotions. Mr Kuehm’s steady humor, ethics, and sound legal advice all got me through to a very positive outcome. I can even say that although divorce is of the most painful things I have ever experienced, I also learnt many good things working with this team. And that there are lawyers you can trust!

There are not enough words to describe how truly incredible Dennis Slate & Associates truly are. My teenage kids were taken away by CPS and the judge ruled in CPS’ favor in the initial hearing with misinformation. My attorney at the time did not want to anger the judge because she had to try other cases in front of him and did not want him to be biased against her. The way the case was going, I was not going to have my kids back within the year - if ever! I began to look for outside counsel which is when I found Dennis Slate. We live outside of Abilene - 7 hours away!After talking with other people that have heard of him and seen him in action, I decided to give him a call. I don’t think he believed the story I told in the beginning because of all the illegal and wrong things that had been done against me and my family. He agreed to take a look at my case. He told me he would call me later that day after he checked on a few things. The end of the work day came and went and I thought, “Typical lawyer”, but he called me a little before 9pm! I couldn’t believe it! At that moment, I knew he was the lawyer for me. Within the month, the CPS case was totally dismissed and my kids were back home. I needed an attorney that was not afraid of the small-town politics and Dennis was that attorney! Dennis and his staff always answered any questions I had promptly and professionally. I would HIGHLY recommend Dennis Slate to anyone looking for a highly motivated, competent, and compassionate attorney that is more than willing to go the extra mile for their clients.

Dennis Slate and his team are exceptional! We had a Intervention case with a foster child against CPS. We went to a jury trial and won! Dennis from the get go was transparent of the possible outcome of the case and our chances of winning the case. His work ethic is second to none! Honestly I have never met anyone in my life like him when it comes to this. When he walks into a courtroom he demands respect his knowledge of the court system and laws is unprecedented. Watching his presentation of the evidence against CPS and direct examination of the witness is a sight to be seen. Honestly i never saw him take a lunch he would work thru lunch and even when the opposing council is asking questions he is just working! It is said you are only as good as your team.. and Dennis and his team of paralegals is second to none! I would recommend wholeheartedly Dennis Slate and his team! Dennis picked up my divorce case in the middle of the process when it look like it could go all the way to court without settling. He and his team were incredible. Dennis has the knowledge and connections that put his clients in position to get the best outcome possible. After a long, drawn-out divorce, Dennis was able to get just about everything I asked for without having to go to court in mediation.
