Mr. Andrews is a great disability attorney . And so is the young lady Karla that works there . Mr. Andrews met with me after trying to get disability for two and a half years . He and his staff but together all my medical records. They put it all together and sent it to the ALJ judge . The judge approved my case based on my medical records Mr. Andrews put together . I did not have to appear before the judge . I would highly recommend Mr. Andrews. In my opinion the best disability attorney in Houston .

I want to preface this by saying that Mr. Andrews and his team won our case and helped me get disability benefits! We originally were denied and had to appeal. When we scheduled our hearing, we employed Mr. Andrews as legal representation. At first we were a little dismayed. It was hard to tell what was or wasn’t happening because we were so unfamiliar with the process. And Mr. Andrews was actually late to both our first consultation as well as the hearing itself. Then, his staff called several times asking the same questions and we felt like there was a bit of a communication error. For weeks, I called for updates and got told to be patient but that is apparently just part of the process so we can’t hold that against the attorney’s office. During my hearing Mr. Andrews seemed every part the lawyer and I was glad he understood the terminology enough to converse with the judge in a way that I could not. However, it worried me a little that Mr. Andrews seemed a tad uniformed about my medical condition. That’s easy to do considering the complexity of my conditions but it did make me worry at the time. Afterward, I told Mr. Andrews my concerns and he was every bit helpful! He made sure the judge understood and he called several times after to confirm different things so that we were never again mistaken about what was taking place. All in all, it seemed that Mr. Andrews and his team have a lot on their plate and at times we worried that our case would fall through the cracks. That was a little nerve wracking to be honest and is the reason I took off one star in the rating. But, in the end, we found that our concerns were small in comparison to the result and the case was won without too much heartache. We are grateful for the knowledge and work the team put in behind the scenes and would indeed recommend their services if results are the main focus!

SS has a 100 ways of saying no to disability. If you want to have the best chance of getting a yes, hire James Andrews. He will not baby you for months so don't expect a weekly or daily call from him. He has other cases. . You will see him twice. Once before your hearing and once at your hearing with the judge. He has a mind like a stl trap and remembers everything about your case. Be sure to meet with him before the hearing to go over your case and Do Not Be Late for your hearing. James Andrews met with me promptly regarding my case. At all times, I knew exactly what was happening in my case and what the next steps in the process were. Although my case was complex, Mr. Andrews read through my hundreds of pages of medical records and was able to succinctly and clearly explain my condition to the Administrative Law Judge and doctor who was on the phone and my appeal hearing. The way in which he described how my injury has negative affected my health and his technical summary of my medical records allowed my appeal to be successful. He even suggested what impairment I might have under the Social Security Administration rules as the judge and doctor on the phone were having difficulty in determining where I would fit in for a diagnosis under their rules.
