I feel very fortunate to have selected Greg Houlton to represent me in my two DUI cases. My arrests occurred within three months of each other and I was sure I'd be facing jailtime, considering the circumstances of my arrests. It was a very difficult time and I was obviously struggling in my personal life. But within the first few minutes of meeting Greg, he made me feel very comfortable and insisted that I take care of myself, first and foremost, and let him deal with the legal proceedings. So that's what I did and Greg won both of my ALR hearings and got one of my cases dismissed. I received a year and a half of probation with no jailtime or significant fine. Greg by far exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I can't say enough about Greg and his professionalism and the calming effect he had on me throughout this stressful period.

I was arrested on the night of my birthday late at night and the cops pulled me over for a broken license plate light then went overboard saying that I was slurring my words and requested a sobriety test. I am a disabled veteran and have issues with physical tasks alone as it is and because of that they failed me and sent me straight to the slammer. This is my first offense ever and it was a bad charge. I was distraught and felt the world was against me. I have so many good things to say about Mr. Leslie Legrand, but first and foremost, I just want to thank him through this review for the way that he handled and managed many obstacles in my DWI case down in Galveston, as well as how he treated my family and I, with so much respect and empathy during a time we desperately needed it. My case has gone on for 2 years..during this long drawn out process, he was very clear on what to expect. My case was a lost cause from the beginning…when I hired Mr. Legrand, he made sure that my expectations were low so that in worst case scenario I wouldn’t be disappointed…he was communicative when I needed to ask him anything regarding my case, he was always completely honest with me and never led me astray. Leslie Legrand went to lengths that no average lawyer I’ve ever had or heard of would, to ensure the best possible result of my case.
