I was charged with felony prescription fraud, and my career/education could've been ruined. I did lots of research, and interviewed several lawyers before finally finding Mr. Matt Horak. After listening to the aggressive plan that he proposed, I was convinced that he was best suited to handle my case. Because of his expertise, passion, and relentless hard work, the grand jury dismissed the charge, and I was able to continue my career. I wouldn't hesitate to seek his counsel again or to recommend him to a friend or family member.

Cynthia Diggs was my lawyer during my divorce and custody case from late 2002 to mid 2003. As an active duty military member stationed overseas, I was up against significant odds with relation to obtaining custody of my son. Mrs. Diggs explained my chances for a man to obtain custody of their child (son) but advised me to go for it of which I did. During this time, countless emails and phone calls transpired. Sometimes not as often as I would have liked but in the end, Mrs. Diggs kept me informed and guided me the entire way. At times when I would become frustrated, Mrs. Diggs who was some 2500 miles away kept me focused and calm. On judgment day, I won custody of my son who was seven years old at the time. I need not say how elated both Mrs. Diggs, her staff and I were at the decision. Today, my son is 18 and just graduated from H.S. with a 4.1 GPA and 26 out of 404 in his class. My son has received countless academic awards to include junior honor society x 2, honor society x 3, Presidents Education Award Program, AP Scholar award program, earned his varsity letter in football, a member of the National Student Leadership Conference, and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. As you can tell, I am very proud of him. I say this to emphasis that Mrs. Diggs and her staff at the time took on overwhelming odds in support of my case and me. She believed in my abilities to raise my son in such a way that would benefit him by being with me compared to any other person in the end. I would also like to thank Christine. At the time, she was Mrs. Diggs front office assistant. On one occasion in particular, Christine and Christine’s’ mom volunteered to watch my son while I handled some divorce work with Mrs. Diggs. Thank you Christine. Without the full support and assistance from Mrs. Diggs entire staff, that whole process would have been extremely painful. Mrs. Diggs, as a result of your council, my son is preparing to attend William & Mary on a full academic scholarship. I could go on and on but in closing, for you single fathers out there who are serious about raising their children, consider Mrs. Diggs as an option in your quest for legal council. I am a single father in Texas and Cynthia helped me get custody of my 3 year old son. She was co counsel on my case and did an amazing job. I was fighting a child support case that was clearly paternity fraud!!! A Judge ordered me to pay child support without ordering a DNA test for two children. I had been dealing with this case since 2007. Attorney Diggs took the case and petititioned the court for paternity test. DNA tests proved I wasn't the father of both children. Attorney Diggs had all child support obligations removed!

I have contacted Diggs & Sadler 4 times over the past 3 months to assist with providing an agreement previously filed and no one has responded to my inquiries. Very disappointed considering they were excellent to work with 12 years ago.

Since Cindy was my fourth attorney in my custody battle, I had gotten accustomed to hearing that time and obedience to the court order were the only options.
