I think what sets Kathryn and her team apart from other lawyers (and I've worked with 3 other firms in the past) is 1. their expertise in immigration law and 2. their service oriented attitude. My first meeting with Kathryn was over a video call to explain my situation and what struck me immediately was how knowledgeable she was with all the different visa types and conditions. For answers she didn't know off the top of her head, she pulled out a big book, knew exactly which section to flip to and got us the information we needed on the spot to have an effective discussion. Other lawyers I had would get my information, do their research in the background and so much time would get lost in the back and forth. I then worked closely with Nadine on the visa application who was also clearly extremely knowledgeable but also really proactive in her interactions with me. My visa case wasn't particularly complicated in the grand scheme of immigration related problems but for me, it was a huge deal because it introduced uncertainty in my life plans. Nadine made me feel like my application was important and it was a priority. She gave me as much information as I needed to feel comfortable and was prompt in her responses. I'd highly recommend Kathryn and her team for all immigration related needs!

Very good service and would recommend it to all American expats with foreign spouses seeking to immigrate to the U.S. before they repatriate.

I did a telephone consultation for my green card interview with Ms. Karam. I paid $350.00 for half hour. I had some complications in my immigration case. We agreed that she would look at my documents and then will talk to me later. I sent her my documents, she acknowledged the receipt but never got back to me. I called her assistant to ask if I should pay more so that I can speak with Ms. Karam and I was told that the followup was cost free. Didn't hear from them, and I sent an email again whereby Ms. Karam replied that she was "planning on" getting back to me. Never heard from her again. Found out she used to work for the law group that I hired to assist me in my interview, which is Quan Law. I had my interview and an attorney from Quan Law assisted me, and I was able to pass it. I don't know why Ms. Karam behaved the way she did. To be honest I am shocked a little and as I recall my experience, I think about my first conversation with her and I try to read between the lines. She was indeed persistent about if I wasn't telling her everything about my case - perhaps she didn't trust me as a client. But who knows...anyways I will highly encourage people to look at QUAN LAW GROUP - they are friendly and super professional.
