HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Shawn was the worst lawyer that my family has EVER had to deal with. If your a DAD and trying to get a court document drawn up for the RIGHTS or VISITATIONS to your kid then i suggest you get a REAL LAWYER!!!! Shawn drew the entire process out to get a bigger pay check and completely screwed over his own cliet, and in EVERY way possible has made it as hard as he can for a father to see his own son. Shawn Rudisel is 100% in this business for the money and could care less about the outcome of his cliets. WOST KIND OF LAWYER POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to admit, I had a wonderful experience with Rudisel Law Firm. From the beginning to end, I have no complaints. My case was finally finalized, and everything went as planned. I would highly recommend this practice to any one looking for an awesome lawyer. Oh, he's also pretty darn funny!

My daughter is originally from another state & had been in Houston just a month when her first child was born. After a year, her marriage broke up & she wanted to come home to family & a job that was waiting for her. Her husband fought to keep their child in Houston so my daughter's choices were to live there without any support whatsoever, (no family, friends, or job), live here but leave her child behind (wasn't happening) or find the best damn attorney in Houston to help us. That's when I found Shawn & his staff. It was during the holidays & on a Friday that I left a message on his company website thinking I'd hear back the following week. Shawn called me after court that day, around 6pm his time, & was on the phone with me for nearly two hours. He never rushed me & even gave his personal number if I had further questions. During the next few months, I spoke with Shawn on several occasions. Never did he mind that he hadn't been hired. He just wanted to help. When we finally did hire him, Shawn & his staff were above reproach in their professionalism, their demeanor toward us, their quick response to our calls, & their handling of our case. I work with lawyers & I know firsthand how distant they can be. However, with Shawn I was considerably impressed with how he treated my daughter, cared about the outcome of her case & worked hard to achieve the results we wanted. This firm clearly stands for family, integrity, & results. Without a doubt I would use their services again if needed and I would certainly recommend The Rudisel Law Firm to anyone with a family matter needing the best team to help them. Thank you Shawn & everyone at the office who cared so much & was so pleasant to work with.

I cant believe the other comments made by other people on this firm. Shawn Rudisel is as good as attorneys come. I personally work for a litigation support firm and when it came down to my personal matter. Shawn is a real attorney with a passion to do his job and his staff is more professional than any other I have ever met. He is a real person you can trust and he is a real person and will talk to you like a human being not like an investment. He wants to do what's best and goes out of his way to do so. I know a lot of attorneys but when it comes to personal family matters I would always put my trust in him. He is a person just like anyone one else and understands.

My husband and I worked tirelessly with James on a sensitive criminal case. James showed the upmost compassion and care for our case. We got the results that were needed to get our case dismissed! Going through the court system is a horrifying experience and James walked us through the whole experience. Thank you James for getting our life back.

WOW !!! Divorce is a brutal experience, However Shawn 's intense sincerity projects a genuine concern for each of his clients personal needs while protecting their best interest. Shawn listens to his clients needs, and protects his clients like a bullet proof vest. My original attorney creeped me out and I discontinued his service two days before temporary hearings. I was referred. to Shawn I called the day before my temporary orders. Shawn accepted my case that same night, and defended me in court the next day. AMAZING!! I have referred several friends and acquaintances to the Rudisel Law Firm, They, as well as my self, have agreed after speaking with Shawn, " Shawn, really makes you feel good about the whole process", He returns calls, sets proper expectations, and does not waste your time or money playing into typical attorney games. His planning ahead, and workflow management eases the entire process and ultimately re-leaving the pressures and saving money. Thank you Shawn for everything you have done, and the New beginnings !!

My opinion is based off my family case I hired the RUDISEL LAW FIRM to handle for me in 6/2012, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIRING THIS LAW FIRM. I was treated VERY disrespectfully from the ENTIRE firm. I was talked down to like a child, multiple times called "princess" while being screamed at to change my attitude. So on & so on. Different phone calls & instances this is how I was treated by the entire firm. I paid this firm thousands of dollars while they only worked off a 1/3 of what they were paid. This firm manipulated me, lied to me, basically stole my money while verbally confirmed that I "will not be getting my $1500 back", (this was shouted at me on the phone). I didn't ask for their phone bill, but was charged $400 when I complained of their lack of communication w/me. This charge was justified as so, "reflects times spent researching the phone records to validate the phone calls we made to you." I had to hire another attorney to finish what the Rudisel Law Firm wouldn't properly finish, keeping my money. The Rudisel Law Firm were the following to me: rude, manipulative, untruthful, unorganized, lacks communication, immature, mentally & verbally abusive, condescending and definitely unprofessional. Yes, legally they completed only a portion of my case. But I didn't hire them to rob me and treat me that horrible. The Rudisel Law Firm has killed my trust for lawyers. Is there an ethics committee or some form of repercussions that can be taken against people like this? This law firm might not treat all of their clients the way they did me, but I DID get treated with absolutely NO respect as their client who is paying for their bills.
