Super thankful for Mr. Ruiz and for his dedication to his work and all his help! He helped me get a lesser charge from DWI 2nd to DWI 1st (meaning lesser punishment & avoiding mandatory jail time). He also helped me win my ALR hearing that allowed me to keep a drivers license and the privilege to still be able to drive during pre & post trial period. He was kind, professional, and always responded when I had any questions from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t had the best luck with legal counsel in the past with priors or someone who is experiencing this for the first time and wanting to walk out feeling like “money well spent” !

After being arrested for a DWI, I was scared & knew that I needed a lawyer. After speaking with 5 or 6 lawyers, a friend recommended Joseph Ruiz. After speaking with him (and checking his credentials), I decided to go with his law firm. He knows the system. He explained everything to me (step by step) in terms that anyone would've understood. I don't know how big his law firm is, but whenever I called (or emailed), I got a prompt response to my questions. I had to "go through the process", but the result was a dismissal of all charges. If you need a lawyer for a DWI charge, Joseph Ruiz is the man for you. I will definitely keep his number saved & recommend him to any of my family or friends that need a lawyer. (DWI or Criminal). BTW, he gives you his cell number. That's the personal touch that you may not get with other lawyers. For the people that want (or need) to know, his price is fair. They helped me get my case dismissed. I was arrested for something I did not do (“racing on highway”) and Mr.Andrew Gendi helped me close my case super quickly. Mr. Ruiz Joseph was able to obtain the minimum possible time for my brother ,on his unfortunately very grave and complex charges. He was the only lawyer that asked me about how our family was doing, and wanted to know a little about my brother ,before even talking numbers. When I chose Thiessen Law Firm to represent me, I've had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Gendi, a TOP-NOTCH attorney who handled my case. I don’t know how I would have made it through without him. He was VERY knowledgeable, respectful, AND very caring (which is rare these days). Andrew stayed on top of the job for me and addressed all of my concerns and needs as soon as they arose. He always kept me in the loop of "what to expect next" and offered advice on how things should be handled. I'm not a very trusting person when it comes to someone representing "ME", (and I'm sure he realized that initially...LOL) but Andrew was very patient with me and his character spoke volumes!!
