Knowledgeable, methodical, concise, ... Mr. Ruiz is by far THE most effective and professional attorney I have ever dealt with. He handles his cases all by himself and will not forget about you. Mine took an agonizing eight months to resolve, and he was there for me the whole time -- to a fault. Text, call or email, he is always very responsive. Even a year after the dismissal of my case, we are still in touch and he has helped me with other issues I've had, pro bono -- although don't tell him I said that! In a nutshell, he is NOT one of those lawyers that just gets you to sign the contract and then assigns a novice paralegal to your case. He is hard-working, honest, humble and most importantly, a winner!

Joseph was there for me during one of the scariest times of my life. He has been reassuring, confident, efficient and did what he said he was going to do, however, he never over promised. As well as being professional throughout, Joseph has not lacked compassion and understanding. I felt I was in safe hands. I highly recommend him.

Only a 5 because I can't give extra stars. Taly is an amazing family court lawyer. I googled lawyers and came across her hoping I was making a right decision, I chose her. I have not been let down at all. Literally just texted her 9:40 pm and she replied. She is always available for her clients. She also doesn't put up with anything and fights for what you want. My ex husband attempted to take my kids away from me. I had followed pur first court order (when we first got divorced) as it should be and tried doing everything in the best interest of my kids, and I had prove. Emails with teachers, text messages between myself and teachers, ex spouse, etc. My ex husband and I had a great relationship for our kids, we swapped weekends, weekdays, etc. Until his c.s. was to increase and he decided to try to take them away. I went to Taly and she handled everything. I sent all documents, files, screenshots, etc. Before signing off on anything, she sends it to you to review. We went to mediation, and not knowing options to agree on she helped me tremendously. In the end, I kept my kids, doubled his c.s. and he has to reimburse me medical or pay for it. She answers all questions, even breaks it down if needed( happened to me since this was the first time dealing with custody issues). She is straight forward and doesnt beat around the bush. I recommend Taly for your family court attorney, and I am sure you will not regret it.

Words cannot describe how much Mark Thiessen means to my family and me. From May 2019 until January 2020 Mark walked side-by-side with us and treated us with gentleness and care while absolutely COMMANDING the courtroom. I can distinctly remember being in court on Halloween and when Mark walked into the courtroom, the entire mood and demeanor lifted with his smile. We had an absolutely brutal judge, and he navigated her perfectly. More importantly, his relationships with the District Attorney's is spectacular. They like him and respect him, which makes all the difference in his ability to work your case to a successful outcome for you. In today's U.S. court system, you want and need an aggressive bulldog on your side - Mark is that guy.

Mark Thiessen is a Jedi Master of his craft. Mark and his team have a keen and tactical approach to handling your case, yet still manage to maintain a lot of empathy in their communication with you. A rare combination indeed. They definitely made this process of navigating the court system as smooth as it could possible be. Things such as answering my texts late at night even on the weekends, and being there in person at the office for meetings were quite clutch.
