James Alston represented me for felony charges related to obtaining a controlled substance by self-prescribing. James expeditiously prepared a pretrial diversion proposal for the district attorney who approved the proposal. From start to end my case lasted only 15 months and was dismissed. My medical license and prescriptive authority through the DEA were never restricted; I am still a practicing physician. In addition, James successfully assisted me in obtaining a 'TWIC - Transportation Worker Identity Credential' despite having a disqualifying offense.
