Great advice... Mr. Silberman answered our questions in a few minutes and guided us in right direction.

Phil Silberman sounded knowledgeable about eviction law when we talked to him. On that basis, we hired his firm and paid a $2,500 retainer as demanded by Mr. Silberman. A few days before the trial date, we were informed by Mr. Silberman that were being assigned another attorney, Chris Heald, who turned out much more junior and far less seasoned. It became apparent in the hearing that Mr. Heald was not well schooled in eviction nor real estate law. After the case was dismissed in the Defendant's favor (Chris lost the case), he informed us that he had used up the entire retainer in preparing for the case and reading up on eviction law. We were dissatisfied with our experience with this law firm because of the attorney's inexperience and complete disregard for our costs. If you value your money, don't invest with this firm. Here's an email from the firm. The attorney wrote a lengthy response to this review below, probably spending 2 possibly even 3 hours writing and editing it. I'm not saying it wasn't a difficult case, I'm saying I was overbilled.

Phil Silberman responded to my inquiry quickly and answered all my questions, pointing me in the direction that I needed to go. I thought it was a real estate law question that I had, but it really was not.

I would highly recommend not using this lawfirm. My attorney wouldn’t return phone calls or respond to emails. When I attempted multiple times to contact Mr. Silberman he told me that he does consults all day and didn’t have time to take my phone call. I wish I could give them a -5 stars.
