John assisted us with creating a comprehensive estate plan for our family to include wills, powers of attorney, and additional documents required for our situation. We did not have a prior plan. Mr. Yow is the best lawyer we could find in the most tragic circumstance of my life. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced about family probate laws in Texas. Three years ago I lost two close relatives and we took custody of their two very small children. My relatives had no living will. Mr. Yow was instrumental in solving the most complex probate case involving minors and no living will. From the very beginning Mr. Yow explained how the law works in this case and why, what it means for our situation, what the best course of action is, what the plan of action is. With patience and diligence, Mr. Yow worked on my case and drove it to its conclusion. He helped us handle and put away unexpected turns. For example when the mortgage company involved sued me, the administrator of the estates, calming that I delay a resolution. When in reality it was due to the speed of the court proceedings and the complexities of this case. After little over a year, we were able to sell all the tangible assets, settle all the claims, and pay all of the estates’ debts. Through this case I found Mr. Yow as most trustworthy and very honest. Thanks to Mr. Yow’s professionalism and expertise, we can now focus on the future of the two children we adopted and not have to worry about any more time spent with probate proceedings.
