Rodney Jones Law Group was overall very professional with handling my case. They responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner and help me through the process. I would definitely recommend this law group to anyone in need.

I waited two weeks to consult with Attorney Kamal, and unfortunately, I did not receive the same five-star service as some other reviewers. My exchange with Attorney Kamal was more in line with some of the latter unfavorable reviews. I was met with the same fervor, focusing primarily on the financial aspect, consistent with other reviewers noting Attorney Kamal's primary concerns surrounding retainer fees, etc. However, I understand that any potential service provided will come with an expectation of compensation. Where the issue lies with my interaction with Attorney Kamal is that there was no actual value provided to me as a potential client via the consultation itself. I was met with a lack of empathy. I was not provided viable feedback on steps to take to move forward or what exactly could be offered in terms of assisting me with bringing the case to an amicable close, which is my main goal. Attorney Kamal did not actively listen to understand and spoke to me in a manner that came across as if she was above taking a case like mine. With that said, even if the attorney felt that way, that's her right. I'd have rather she simply stated that it didn't seem like my case was a good fit at the time. I'd have more respect for her transparency vs. being treated as if I'm beneath her and not worth her time. I don't think there are very many ideal family law situations to find oneself in, and unfortunately, I've been doing the best I can pro se for the past two years. However, Attorney Kamal mainly spoke about what I haven't completed with the pending cases, and treated me with contempt after partially explaining I got left hanging/ghosted by a previous attorney that overpromised and did not deliver, (she did not allow me a word in edgewise following that disclosure), and made lots of assumptions about my case and the potential actions or behaviors of the opposing party's counsel solely based on how she would react. This is all without fully hearing me out and listening to understand and provide feedback conducive to my specific state of affairs. Attorney Kamal came across as if I was asking her for a favor or to work pro bono. Unfortunately, I cannot control other people's behavior. What I can focus on is how to bring my situation to an amicable close as quickly as possible. I didn't receive any insight from Attorney Kamal on how best to do that or what value she could offer for the retainer amount she quoted me. In the end, the consultation was not worth it, and I didn't leave the conversation with any valuable takeaways. However, Attorney Kamal will still get paid via the legal plan I pay for via my employer's benefit plan. Which is a win for Attorney Kamal either way, no matter whether she provided value to me or not. Leaving the conversation, I could tell she did not care for or care about my cases. If I were to find a way to obtain the $5,000 retainer and additional fees, I would want an attorney who actually cares about my case, and my family, and provides the best resolutions and outcomes for my child's wellbeing. Which is far from what I received during my consultation.

My experience with this Law Firm was outstanding. The staff was great and they answered all the questions I had, They represented me to the fullest extent.
