My brother is currently detained at ICE because he is seeking for asylum and doesn’t have any criminal record and he’s defenseless. i was recommended to go to Pereira law firm and consulted and he began to process the case. When my brother did the credible fear interview the lawyer had to call him before the interview to prepare my brother and give him some tips. Usually a lawyer has to do that that’s why he’s hired but he didn’t call my brother he called after. Later my brother was denied and i was the one that informed the lawyer instead of him informing me. Doesn’t make sense. I spoke to Laura to see if there is any updates but she was frustrated that i would call. Later two weeks passed and nothing. So i had to call again and his assistants told me in short words that is the system unfortunately and there’s nothing we can do and we submitted everything but basically there was no hope and it’s heart broken to hear since im the little sister and im trying to do everything. I told there assistants if Gerardo Pereira can call me but he never did because he was never in the office. I get that lawyers are always busy and in court but that’s why i paid him $2000 to start the case and help me but nothing.
