In response to Mr. Flemings review, Mr. Makris doesn’t waste time as he knows how precious it really is. He’s not a “quitter” as he’s appealed everything on my behalf. Victor & his professional staff truly mean “business” when it comes to Social Security Disability (SSD). I just thought my first attorney was handling my case until the AL Judge denied me. I didn’t know what to do so I did some research on the internet to find out who the “Best” attorney in Houston was for SSD. The Makris Law Firm came up. I contacted his office right away & the same day I was sending Victor my file. Victor was my new attorney & he was writing a letter (7 pages, on my behalf) to the Social Security Appeals Court. A year later, I received a denial letter from the Appeals Court & Victor again took my case to the Federal Court level. Now, I’m so excited as I’m anxiously waiting for a date with a new AL Judge. If I’d had Victor from the beginning, this would’ve never happened. Thank you so much Victor & your wonderful staff! It’s so refreshing to work with people who truly enjoy their work.

The guy that showed up at my Social Security hearing didn't have ANY of my paperwork and knew Absolutely NOTHING about WHY I was trying to get my Social Security. He didn't tell them about all my injuries and surgeries that I'd had and that I needed More including Back Surgery. As a result I was DENIED. I called the owner and raised Hell. I was assigned a new representative and while I've never received Social Security, I did get my S. S. I.... I'm very happy and have recommended them to several other people.....AFTER READING REVIEWS THAT ARE EITHER VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR OUTCOME OR TOTALLY PISSED OFF, IT SEEMS THERE IS NO.MIDDLE GROUND. PERSONALLY, SINCE I WAS ON THE END OF BOTH, IT'S NOT MR. MAKRIS WHO IS SCREWING UP PEOPLE'S CASES BUT WHOEVER IS ASSIGNED TO THE CASE. WHEN THE FIRST GUY SCREWED ME OUT OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY BY NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT MY CASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION I TOLD THEM I WANTED ANOTHER CASE MANAGER AND WHY AND I GOT A NEW PERSON AND WON MY CASE. IF YOU GO WITH THIS FIRM I SINCERELY THINK THAT YOU'LL BE HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME. IF YOU HAVE NO FAITH IN YOUR CASE MANAGER ASK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO ASK TO BE PUT BEFORE A SOCIAL SECURITY JUDGE AGAIN TO TRY AND GET WHAT I'M ENTITLED TO. I HOPE THAT MY REVIEW HELPS OTHER PEOPLE MAKE THE DECISION TO USE THIS FIRM. THERE WERE TIMES THAT I HAD TO DRIVE TO THEIR OFFICE WITH SOME OF MY MEDICAL RECORDS BUT THAT WAS ONLY AFTER THEY HAD WAITED FOR OVER A WEEK AND MY DOCTOR HADN'T SENT THEM THE ITEMS THEY NEEDED.

Great lawyers great firm

I am a veteran medically discharged from the US Army since January 2015. Due to my injuries, I was rated 100% disabled, permanent and total and have not been able to do any substantial gainful activity.
