My attorney never spoke with me not once. They dragged out my SSDI claim 22 months and never ensured I was on the wounded warrior list as I asked them to do twice over the phone and multiple times over email. I had to file a congressional, find out who my case worker was and teach them SSA regulations from POMS. I spoke with a supervisor to let them know the time hacks they missed had myself placed on the wounded warrior list, went Dr by Dr with my case worker to he could collect records. I asked If we could appeal the date they declared be disabled because it was a year after my award date. I was told the lawyer is worried about dirty judges and that he wasn’t confident he could win in court. I was told they gave it a 30% win in court appeal. Something I was never told during my intake. Because who would hire a lawyer that says he can only win 30% court cases. You can get denied all alone and win your appeal without having to pay a lawyers assistant to file paperwork you have to file as well through fax to the case worker.

If I could give them no star I would, they suck at there job!! Belen never answers her phone nor does she know how to return calls… they want to get paid for there services but don’t do anything at all to help your case!! Like you do the work and they get paid…. I’ve been doin this for the past 4 years and no help from these people… plz read all reviews so you can see I am not the only one stating facts about these people…. Today 3/27 they call me that why I put this review about them… very rude people not professional at all!! Every review before me states the same or more….lesson learned here…. 4/9 since you just responded back, Yes he is incarcerated no one said he wasn’t and if it wasn’t possible for him to get his phone call for his case then why did I have to call you to get your attitude because you didn’t want to call and set it up for him… you said he couldn’t get the call but I told you I called and asked and they said yes he could but YOU had to call and set it up for him…you got an attitude and started asking for the info when you should have already had it cause I had givin it to the lady that answer calls and when I told her she always transfers me and it goes to vm that’s when she got you on the phone and you were mad!! I don’t know about the law firm but you don’t know how to do your job and I’m more than sure I’m not the only one because there is other reviews that say the same about MAKRIS LAW FIRM!! So that’s why you called me sayin to take down my review if not your lawyers were goin to put my business out there! O wow you know so much about me!! Also , the reason why I was the one to call or make calls for him was because he told you all that he didn’t have a phone and you all agree to it so regardless that’s why I was the one y’all spoke with the few times I was able to get you on the phone!! And you did state that you got paid this time because he wasn’t able to show up for the hearing that’s why you were letting him go, but before all this I had called and asked to be released from y’all and Elizabeth said y’all couldn’t cause y’all needed to get paid, so plz state facts when y’all comment back to a review… and yes they are able to get ssi they just get it place on hold while they are incarcerated so maybe you need to go back and read your books again so you can be more useful to people that are in need of your services! Also try with a better attitude or look for a job that you like!!

Def recommend! I hired the Texas hammer and didn't hear from them for some time, then next thing I know, my case was passed off to a law firm in Virginia! Was driving one Day in Houston and "randomly" seen this law firm advertised. Took a pic, called, got a case worker, filled out all my work, had someone call me to help me with my disability hearing with the judge. Everything went in my favor, I couldn't be more thankful..they even have called me periodically checking in to make sure everything is going fine and to let me know they are still available if I need help with anything. I def will say this was the best move I made and very appreciative bc I fought for years! So, that Day I "randomly" saw the sign, was not random at all...everything happens for a reason and my path was lead right where I needed to go! Thank yall, thank yall, thank yall!
