I applied and was denied they would not do my appeal so I found another lawyer and got my disability fast. Don’t give up

I don’t know how Markris Law firm has all these glowing wonderful reviews. My husband is going on 2 years waiting for something to happen. They have in the their information folder that the preferred mode of contact is an email. But they don’t answer them. Prior to that my husband called 2 or 3 times and left messages. No return call. After a year. We were denied. And then we wanted to leave the company because of no contact and felt like our case wasn’t handled in a timely manner. It’s supposed to be a faster process with an attorney. We were assured if we stayed with them it would be different. We had a different case worker and could call anytime. . And said we’d hear from them in March 2024. Nope. We contacted them Thur email and finally someone called us, a different case worker and told my husband his case had NOT even been assigned to anyone and said they did not know he was seeing a pain management doctor or have any of his current information.( Which had been given to them when we agreed to let THEM appeal.) And then when we got an appt to see the social security Dr he had no information or X-rays on my husbands case. Knew nothing. And now they are billing us for the appt!!! It’s almost another YEAR next month…. We’ve had to get on Food Stamps and sell things to keep our Drs appts and pay bills. This has been very very disheartening. Weve been kept in the dark and we feel like we are on our own.

I am a 100 percent retired veteran and got denied twice for SSID so I used Makris Law Firm and they got me my benefits I needed.
