Makris Law Firm was incredibly helpful through the whole process of filing for SSI for my son. They handled everything, aside for the initial application, which for a minor, the parent has to schedule and complete. We were approved on the first try, which I heard is hard to do! That was the biggest surprise and I’m so incredibly thankful. Their fees are more than fair (honestly, they deserve more!) and I would not have been able to do this without them.

I have VERY little good to say about my experience. First I only spoke to my "lawyer" once and never after the first call. Second even though they say you will get a return call back within 1 business day it usually took 2-3 days then it was Lourdes NOT Lisa. On the positive side Alec who handled the Medicare portion was exceptional. He always either answered my calls or returned my calls promptly. He was knowledgeable, listened to and answered all of my questions, and was a huge help. Overall it was not a good experience and cost me thousands of dollars.

From the very beginning Belinda, my representative, keep me up to date and we were quick to respond to all request from Social Security and that helped, she would forward and discuss the items I sent and if we needed anything she would let me know.
The firm is very professional and in my opinion the perfect help when you need disability.
They wasted no time and I was approved the very first time around. even with the pandemic.

My experience with the Makris Law Firm was great. Staff always answered my concerns and never put my on hold. From the time I filed my claim to the time I received my my claim was 7 months. Yes, I said 7 months. I recommend people call and use the Makris Law Firm.
