This law office is a scam. They take take take and never gave adequate services. I was threatened to take down my previous review or they would no longer assist my family in their case. The lawyer was switch over three times but never was aware of what was happening with the case. I will come back with original review. Please do not spend your money with this firm if you truly want your family back and want adequate, fair representation. Please do not. Review for Edward Law Group: This place is definitely a scam. I retained them to assist my brother in seeing his son the Attorney is now nonexistent and the legal assistance received prior to retaining is something you could get from a Google search. They keep taking funds from my card, but refuse to show me any proof of any action taken on my brother’s case. They (receptionist, paralegal, Rene, etc.) hang up in his face yet constantly send text about keep a certain balance. But when asking what has been done… no one can tell me anything. 2.5k later; Nothing has been filed on his behalf, not even a Designation, no attempts has been made to contact opposing counsel. NOTHING. They are taking from people in need of crucial help. Snakes in suits. Quick update as of (8/17/2023): My brother is being threatened not to be adequately represented if I don’t delete this review. Mind you, WE STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN RESULTS. Despite the fact they are trying to low key extort my brother with threats when his case has not been handled with care, concern, nor skill. PAT had the audacity to pick up the phone … not for an update but for a snake in a suit shake down. I called the number suggested below my review and I was hung up on and disregarded. The 5-star reviews are fake as hell and you can’t tell me otherwise. HELP MY BROTHER SEE HIS SON AND DO BETTER BY PEOPLE.

I had a great experience speaking with Caitlin Revanna. My husband and I had paid for his father's funeral in March when no one in the family knew anything about a will and all his accounts had been frozen. Once she was sure that we had paid all the expenses, his stepsister produced a 15 year-old will which named herself as executor and sole beneficiary. Despite sending him a comprehensive affidavit of the expenses even before they had made a public creditor's notice, her attorney has been giving us a horrible time about reimbursing us, forcing me to write justifications for every expense, denying us six months of lost interest on the money we put out while waiting for reimbursement, denying the repayment of a very modest funeral luncheon, denying a modest expense for flowers because I didn't originally have proof that they were used for the funeral, insinuating that I was including personal expenses (recommended payments to the church where the funeral was held!). Caitlin validated my perception that I was being given the runaround and said it wouldn't really be worth hiring a lawyer to fight them but gave me other options to try and pursue our denied claims. It was refreshing speaking to such a class act and knowledgeable professional after dealing with a sleazebag for six months.

Do not trust this firm. Attorney David Chavez never fulfilled what he was supposed to do, and they do not respond to messages or emails. I have all the evidence to support what I am saying. I sent a message to the firm through their website, and they never replied. On March 4, 2022, I requested the services of the attorneys at Edward Law Group in Spanish. I was initially attended to by Attorney Leo, who was very kind. I explained my case to him regarding fraud involving a metal bending machine I purchased, which did not match the advertised specifications. Leo suggested sending a couple of emails to the person and making three follow-up calls to get back part of the money I had paid the seller of the bending machine. I agreed, and they charged me $1,500 for the service. Attorney Leo assigned my case to Attorney David Chavez, with whom I had a meeting to clarify what he was going to do—2 emails and 3 calls. They charged me for the service, but the attorney did absolutely nothing. I called him to check on the status of the case, and he would tell me he was busy in court but was looking into it. Later, I would send him text messages, and he would say he was working on my case. Eventually, I resorted to sending emails and text messages because he no longer answered my calls. To this day, Attorney David has not provided any response, never told me he made a call or that someone responded. He simply abandoned the case, and I did not get any of my money back.
