I just finished divorcing my husband of 46 years, and cannot imagine having done it without The Herrington Law Firm. Cathy Herrington Hale is compassionate in her office and brilliant in the courtroom. The judge always awarded me more than I was told to expect. Her staff is well trained and wonderfully communicative. I always knew what was happening and what was going to come. Working with this firm made this terrible experience bearable and now I feel prepared to face my future with confidence and financial security.

An ugly divorce from a person who has several personal issues could have train wrecked my life but Cathy would not let that happen. She is kind and patient and she really cares about you as a person. To her, you are not another case, you are a friend in need of help. And thats what she does, she helps. I hired Cathy to be my divorce lawyer and I remain grateful for her everyday! My world fell apart and I was frantically trying to find a divorce lawyer; a dear friend recommended Cathy. I got in touch with her and she took my desperate call one night. She spent an hour on the phone with me. She listened and gave her honest opinion of my situation. I had contacted several other lawyers before her and the fit just wasn't right. I liked what she had to say, she didn't push me, and the next day I retained her as my lawyer. I met with her for the first time the following week and within a minute of meeting her I knew I had made the right choice. I could immediately tell that she was not only very intelligent, but I also loved her energy, her personality, and I could tell that she really cared about me as a client. I had a lot of interaction with her paralegal David. He is nothing short of amazing. Throughout this whole divorce process there was so much uncertainty, but one thing I know for sure is that because I had Cathy as my lawyer I got the best outcome possible. I learned my lesson. Pre-nup next time. Will hire Cathy for that too!
