I am very thankful that I was referred to Joel after I was in a serious car wreck last year. Someone pulled out in front of me at a very close distance. It was a bad wreck and I am very lucky to have survived. Joel was able to prove that the other driver had been drinking, even though the police had failed to do a breathalyzer test at the scene. He fought and advocated for me and was able to get me a settlement in less than a year. He is relentless and not afraid to go up against any insurance company. He is professional and respectful and works really hard for his clients. He went above and beyond for me and I will always highly recommend him.

I am a Veteran with service-connected disabilities that is appealing decisions made by the VA. I am also claiming new disabilities that are secondary to my already service connected disabilities. The case feels overwhelming to me and I was hoping that this law firm could provide much needed counsel and guidance through the process of my appeal and new claims. I filled out the form on their website on a Wednesday night with the advertisement that they would contact me within 24 hours. When I hadn't heard anything by Friday, I called their office. Finally I got a call back on Monday morning, and the woman that called me was rude and her tone was annoyed. She seemed more concerned about getting off of the phone with me than hearing all the details about my case. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain to her the scope of my case, and before I could finish, she interrupted me again to tell me to go ahead and file the claim on my own because their firm only handles appeals. That's not what is advertised on their website. But regardless, I am making an appeal as part of my claim. If a law firm cannot even take the time to be patient enough and empathetic enough to hear out my case completely on their first point of contact, why should I believe they are going to fight on my behalf? Do not recommend.
