Dessiray has been communicative every step of the way! I had a difficult case with the opposition being extremely difficult. She took on my case with full disclosure that it would be costly. She has worked with me and has worked diligently. Her paralegals, Beaula and the team have been exceptional. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs Cusic’s firm for any family law case. Probably the worst representation I could’ve paid for. Little to no communication regarding my case unless they’re requesting the retainer to be replenished. I felt like my “attorney” was taking orders from opposing counsel instead of siding with me her client. I signed paperwork to close my case last week and once again they have gone silent. If I knew this was going to be the kind of services they offered I would’ve kept my $3500 and invested it into a firm who truly cared for their clients. I would recommend staying away from this law firm if you’d like your case to be taken seriously with care and effectiveness.

The whole team at the Cusic Law Firm were very patient, polite, and understanding. They were eager to help and we're always available in answering the phones and returning my calls in a prompt manner, morning, noon, or evening. Attorney Desiree Cusic even held a lengthy zoom meeting with me while sick. I would use them again if ever needed and would definitely recommend the Cusic Law Firm.

Ms. Cusic represented me on a child custody case back in 2016 and she is phenomenal to say the least. She is extremely knowledgeable of the law and works to get her clients the best results in accordance with the law. I recommend her for whatever family law needs you may have.

I really appreciate the advice and heartwarming conversation during my free consultation with Ms. Dessiray Cusic. Though my case was outside of her county and court district, Ms. Cusic (in my opinion) went above and beyond as we discussed my case. I was gracefully corrected in several Texas Family Codes, while being enlightened as to their true meanings. Ms. Cusic also provided a few courses of action. I have met very few individuals in my life who would take the time to patiently listen and genuinely help. Ms. Cusic is one of those individuals. I highly recommend her and urge you to, at least, have the conversation.

Very knowledgeable won’t down play that. Used as amicus in adoption process was told one price and received and unexpected invoice. My attorney stated that she was also surprised that I had a balance with her being that the amicus fee is usually a set fee. The surprised invoice was a little over 900.00 and I was told that I got a discount so it bought it down to 500.00 after my Attorney paid 1250.00 upfront which was supposed to be a on time fee. I’m still unsure of what the 900.00 excuse me 500.00 dollars owed was for. The invoice just said adoption with no explanation. Especially when my attorney stated that she was confused herself as to why I had that balance owed to the Amicus. So yes be aware with any attorney that you choose. Ask questions, get everything in writing, if there will be any on going fees as such. It is very disheartening to feel as someone is price gouging you especially in these times.
