Jose Ceja with Scheiner Law Group did an excellent job with my father's false allegations of sexual assault. Mr. Ceja convinced a Harris County grand jury to "no-bill" the case, and now his case is dismissed. He was very professional and communicated updates to my father at all times. It is a blessing to have a reputable firm serving Spanish speaking citizens. We could not have picked a better lawyer and highly recommend him and Scheiner Law Group.

Just over eight months ago I had the misfortune of being hastily arrested by HPD and charged with a 3rd degree felony assault. If the arresting officers had taken their time to sort out the facts instead of rushing to judgement with no evidence other than false accusations they would have realized the situation was unavoidable and I was acting in self defense. Like so many others who have been in a similar position after the arrest I was concerned for my future, I had so many questions, I needed advice and representation immediately. DISMISSED!! After being out at a bar, I decided to be the designated driver. Friends asked me whether or not I was okay to drive. Since I had only had a couple of drinks, I felt very confident to drive. On my way back home I was stopped for speeding which I considered was very unfair, because I was slowing down as I was coming off the toll way on the ramp. The speed limit drops from 65 mph to 35 mph. It is basically impossible to slow down in one second from 65 mph to 35 mph. Anyway, the police officer was very rude to all of us. He accused me for being drunk, which was not true. Even though he was rude I was still being polite. He did not let me talk and told me he was going to do the sobriety test on me, which I totally refused because; 1.- This test is designed to fail (sober people have failed), 2.- I have a torn ACL. After I refused he arrested me and charged me with DWI. My blood was drawn after the police got a search warrant. My case was dismissed 2 months after I got arrested when the blood work came back from the lab. The results were below the limit. We also won the ALR hearing case so my DL was never suspended. What can I say, Scheiner Law Group is the best law firm in town, plus they are all very professional and polite. From the moment I walked into their office, I felt very comfortable. I remember Mr. Scheiner telling me "we will try everything possible to get the best result", and they sure did. Jose Ceja handled all my appearances in court, he is so professional, polite, and knowledgeable, plus he is a great human being. My experience with the Scheiner Law Group couldn't have been better! I was arrested for a DWI in 2012 and my blood result was a .10. Never having been through something like this before I was very nervous as to what the end result would be. Through out the entire process Jose Ceja my attorney never showed anything but confidence and made me feel comfortable about the situation from start to finish. From the beginning they won my ALR case so that my drivers license was never suspended. After a few reschedules from the prosecution we finally set my case for trial for September 8th 2014. 2 years after my arrest. I was facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after being accused falsely for hitting a man with a beer bottle at a nightclub. As I was arrested with my first DWI charge, I was worried and completely lost at what to do. I was referred to Grant and Jose by a close family friend. The moment I sat down with these gentlemen I knew I was in good hands. They made me feel very comfortable and were clear and upfront from the beginning. They took the time on my case that was necessary to get the job done properly. I was confident the truth would be set straight. My ALR hearing went through first and we won without a hitch! My license was saved, and the worrying if I would have a suspended license was gone! Next, was the offer for the pre-trial diversion program. Scheiner Law Group did a superb job in handling my Husbands assault case. I was stopped by an officer for speeding on a Thursday night following a work event at Kung Fu Saloon. After consenting to field sobriety tests, the DWI task force officer arrested me for a DWI. Following extensive research on Houston lawyers, I decided to go with Grant Scheiner and his colleague, Jose Ceja. I immediately felt comfortable and trusted both following my consultation visit, as I felt they were direct and to the point regarding informing me on my options and the court process (they cut out the BS unlike other lawyers I met with). They were able to reset my court date in order to complete in-depth due diligence to provide me with the best possible outcome. Ultimately, we agreed we should take the case to trial. Grant and Jose met with me multiple times to gather information and were well prepared going into trial. They also helped me to feel comfortable in the unfamiliar court setting. My case was very tough, lasting two full days and over 3 hours of jury deliberation, but the outcome was positive. My DWI was dismissed due to a hung jury (4 not guilty, 2 guilty). It should also be noted that my ALR case was also won, and my license was never suspended. Grant and Jose did an outstanding job from beginning to end, and I highly recommend their services.

Grant and his firm was very helpful and experienced in my trial case for A DWI,he was very knowledge all details in this case.He was very knowledgeable about case procedure as well as chemistry from the blood test and trial skills. I was arrested and charged with DWI June of 2011 and it was a terrible experience. The police took my blood and claimed I was .14 at the time I was driving. I felt that I was treated unfairly by the officer and not given a fair chance. After speaking with Grant, I decided that we should take the case to trial and we did that. Grant found holes in the science and the officer's story and got me a Not Guilty verdict. His firm also won my ALR hearing, so my driver's license was never suspended.
