Girlfriend had a ticket, the officer who issued it didn't show up in court, according to her lawyer, since the officer was "in the building", that was sufficient enough. She's now stuck having to pay the ticket.
Guessing they were hoping she would believe it since she's from another country.
I am a former Military Legal Specialist, the one thing you have the Right to do is face your accuser, if not, get the ticket dismissed.
