I hired Hoppes & Cutrer to handle my recent divorce. Anita, Jean, and Lesley were always very kind and compassionate during a very traumatic and difficult stage in my life. Anita and Jean were excellent listeners, and always available to answer any questions and calm any fears I had. My situation was a difficult one, but Anita is a very competent and knowledgable attorney and helped me understand Texas law while making me feel confident in the outcome. She is an excellent advocate, and treated me as a person rather than just another case. Even as the divorce was final, they continued to provide support, and inquired with genuine concern about how my children were doing.I remember her telling me one time on a phone call, "Allison, I am here to protect you." This review is based on my experience with Lisa Hoppes in my divorce case. I approached Ms. Hoppes for a initial consultation concerning a divorce. At the consultation she armed me with the facts of law concerning my situation to help me make an informed decision as to proceed with a divorce or look for alternatives to a divorce. She was through in explaining the process and costs associated with the case if I decided to move forward. After moving forward with the case Ms. Hoppes and her team were there not only for emotional support during this difficult time but also used best practices in securing the documentation to benefit my position. She understood my priorities as to the final outcome and worked diligently to secure the best possible outcome. Even after suffering a personal lose she did no waiver from her responsibility to me her client. After securing all documentation we moved toward the medication process. After an in depth discussion with her a mediator was secured that was sensitive to my needs in this case. The mediation process was smooth and seamless and I received better than expected results. To summarize this experience I am giving Ms. Hoppes a 5 star rating due to her diligence, toughness, use of best practices and compassion to me her client.
