I will never hire any other attorney again. Andrew is stellar!!!

I am an attorney and I have worked with Andrew Weisblatt on a very complicated federal court matter. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and dedicated to his clients. I would highly recommend him.

Absolutely the worst experience that anyone could have with a lawyer, i hired this man to represent me in a law suit and he not only overcharged me but did not do what a lawyer should do for their client and that is to protect and make sure that he looks out for their best interest. Instead after paying him 35k for a lawsuit that did not even go to court, he also did not look out for my best interest in the settlement agreement, I trusted him and gave him 24k checks and expected my accounting records to be given to me and instead he gave my checks to them and did not make sure that the accounting records that I was suppose to receive were exchanged in return, as a result now I have to hire another lawyer to get my accounting records and spend more money in legal bills because Mr. Weisblatt and his Sidekick Charles Murnane did not do their job properly. But the worst thing of all, after their screw up, they did not tell me that they did not get my accounting records for three months and they continued to bill me for emails to the other council according to them they were trying to get my accounting records. Are you kidding me!!! Not only did they not notify me that there was a problem, they thought it was right to charge me for their screw up!!! After I told Mr. Weisblatt that I wanted a refund for the August billing because I never authorized any work past the settlement agreement that should have ended in July, he try's to use it as a bargaining chip telling me that "he will refund me the 900.00 that he charged me in August, if I sign a full release". Now how unethical is that? The least that I expected after paying this man the ridiculous amount that I paid was that he would fix his screw up at no charge, but instead he says that he will no longer represent me. I paid 35k to this lawyer plus another 24k about 60k total and what did I get? NOTHING, a simple task of getting my accounting records in exchange for the check could not be performed by this lawyer that charges 450.00 an hour and told me that the reason he charges that much is because he is good. Yeah, that's how good you are and you couldn't have common sense enough to exchange the money for something that you know well I needed because you chose to make this company my problem instead of giving it to them to close since they had the accounting records, now I have to be responsible to pay the penalties for not filing the taxes, pay my accountant to do the taxes and close a company that I don't have accounting records for instead of letting them close the company and file all the taxes. I am punished to do everything because this lawyer wanted to simply continue to drain me in legal fees, as he had already done after overcharging for a lawsuit that did not even make it to court. This law firm is not to be trusted as their only concern is money and not the well being of their clients. Think twice before hiring someone that is not going to look after your best interest. I regret ever hiring them and trusting them to look after my livelihood, the outrageous amount that I was overcharged could gave easily put me into bankruptcy and this lawyer led me to believe that this lawsuit was not going to be nearly this much and persuaded me to continue with the lawsuit by telling me that I was not going to pay much. Not true!

I approached Mr. Weisblatt for a small claims matter. I was my impressed by his knowledge and the way he explained complicated legal matters to me. As my case involved a small monetary amount he didn't charge me any fees (zero fees, yes!!) but took all the time to explain me different aspects of my case and provided me advise on the next steps. I feel he is not only a good lawyer he is also an extremely good human being.

Mr. Weisblatt's representation was exceptional. The research he did was spot on and applicable to my case. The letter he drew up and sent to the opposing counsel in response to the alleged wrong doings was well constructed. He was clear and concise with our position and resolve to defend me while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor towards my accuser. I believe his expertise helped diffuse a volatile situation before it escalated into a full blown lawsuit.
