After speaking to quite a few law firms in the area, I decided to trust my intuition and have Mr. Lopez represent me for a relatively difficult child custody matter. Mr. Alejandro Lopez (attorney) and Ms. Jami Nance (paralegal) were very knowledgeable about the legal processes / steps and took the time to explain what was happening in the case and explain my options, always quick to respond to my emails and requests for phone calls, always willing to answer my questions, and ultimately helped me win my case! Invoices were sent in a timely manner and the charges were clearly outlined when signing the initial contract. My custody case was very contested (no divorce involved) but from start to finish - the case only took 8 months to resolve thanks to their timely actions and close attention. Mr. Lopez & Ms. Nance, I cannot thank you enough! Thank you so much for helping me through such a scary unknown situation and handling it with understanding and compassion for the last 8 months! I cannot recommend this firm enough and this team specifically for your custody cases!

As a disabled veteran I would not recommend this firm. I was told to submit documents and I submitted them and was still dropped as a client with no communication as to why.

I want to highly commend the help that I received from Kinsee Tumlinson, with my case, in my opinion, she went above and beyond, in helping me to resolve an issue concerning my deceased husband's claim. She made me feel at ease during the process and walked me through it until the very end. I was having trouble receiving a link to complete his claim and the deadline was within one day. I could not receive the link and was going to give up, but Ms. Kinsee assured me she would be working to get this resolved. And guess what! She got the link sent to me and as I stated, stayed with me on the phone to walk me through the process of filling out the forms. Thank you Kinsee, you are one of a kind. Blake Matthys and Jessica Torres took amazing care of me throughout my entire case. Would happily recommend them to anyone.

Not a great experience so far as part of the 3M earplug settlement for veterans. I hired a different firm but they hired Carlson to handled the settlement paperwork. Communication from the lawyer has been impersonal (eg "dear client) and they have been unresponsive to questions. I finally put my foot down and said I want to speak to the lawyer representing me, not a legal assistant, and it's like pulling teeth trying to schedule a phone call. I don't feel like a valued or respected client. I don't think I would ever hire Carlson after this experience so far.
