I've had the pleasure of working with Tad personally as a technology consultant for him in the past. We've eaten lunch and dinner together. I know that Tad is very dedicated to his clients and cares for them off the clock. He's definitely the lawyer you want on your side.

This a good man. Gave me insight into my case a few weeks ago. Was supposed to have trial March 28. ADA wasn't ready so it's seit in a month. I had an attorney but was about to fire him and Tad told me how my case will end soon and he didn't try and rip me off or scare me for pay. So I'm just praying in a month everything will be done. I had to go to trial in Galveston county and I was highly impressed w the attorneys they spoke and explained to the jury the case and got a not guilty verdict. Justice was served after months of the da's office not negotiating. It was truly a super lawyers work. We hired Tad Nelson to defend our granddaughter and her husband, both of whom had been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Prior to this time we had absolutely NO experience with the legal system, so we were very afraid of what penalty they faced for such severe charges. Tad did not overpromise, making it clear that the charges were very serious and that we needed to be patient and let him work to realize the best possible results. After about 15 months he was able to have the charges dismissed against our granddaughter and reduced to deferred imposition for her husband. I don't believe that even Tad thought he could achieve such results. Our grandchildren were given their lives back, and hopefully will use much better judgment in the way they live their lives in the future. Thanks again, Tad. You were certainly worth your fee!

April 15, 2012 I was arrested for a DWI. I had a history of DWI convictions. The District Attorney was ruthless. I was on Parole and could not bond out. I went to trial and was found NOT GUILTY on April 2, 2015. Yes, I was found NOT GUILTY after sitting in jail 2-1/2 years. I felt my neck under the boot of an impatient, Byzantine legal bureaucracy of Galveston County. The true blessing and hope was that I was in good hands with Tad Nelson and Amber Spurlock on my side. I was in the conservative court of Judge Lonnie Cox, which is said to favor the State. I was summoned to his chambers and was greeted by an Electric Chair sitting next to the photo of him and his bride. One could not feel any less comfortable. The Galveston Police officer had a story and so did I. Both stories conflicted each other. Tad Nelson listened to every word I had to say and he asked all the right questions. Tad and his team did their research, and did a great job doing so. Thanks to Tad Nelson and his team, we won! I am forever grateful for all the attention he gave me and the fact that he paid attention to what I had to say. I tell everyone I know about Tad Nelson because of his great work. The odds were stacked against me and even though I prevailed in my case I am still scared to smile because I don't want to tempt the fates, but Tad and Amber proved to be winning combination and devastating to the State's case.They were really fantastic demonstrating a solid knowledge of trial advocacy and courtroom intuition. I would highly recommend Tad to anyone facing a criminal trial in Houston, TX. I have trusted him during the hardest time of my adult life, and he delivered very well. His experience and knowledge not only helped me understand the process I was going through, but won my case with a "NOT GUILTY" at trial. I knew I wasn't guilty of the charges, but I wasn't sure the jury could see it. Tad explained things to them in simple terms and they came back with the right verdict.
