The law firm of Hammerle Finley was a very professional and personable firm to work with. We asked for documents to be prepared in a very limited time period and they accommodated our request. Personnel were extremely patient in answering our numerous questions. Virginia Hammerle was wonderful to work with and has. a great sense of humor. We also enjoy her weekly column in the Dallas Morning News. Would definitely recommend this firm!

My wife and I met with Virginia to discuss updating our estate planning documents. The discussion was productive and it was apparent that Virginia is well-versed in the process. We agreed to move forward with the process and within a reasonable time the firm submitted the first draft of the documents. That was followed by a long telephone discussion with another of the firms attorneys, Kendra Rey, where we had another productive discussion when our questions and concerns were addressed. Shortly thereafter we had a formal final explanation and signing of the various documents. I highly recommend the firm for projects of this type.

Virginia Hammerle is a really great lawyer; she lives up to the wonderful reputation she has created over years of hard work and involvement in the legal profession. I went to her after seeing two other attorneys and she totally understood my situation and was able to help me when other top notch attorneys could not. Opposing counsel was very poor and she had to do the thinking for everyone. She resolved an old case and negotiated a great settlement for me. Not only that, but we enjoyed working with her. She is whip smart.

I gave one star because zero stars is not available. My wife and I sent a detailed explanation of our needs via Hammerle's web page. On Monday, 8-1-2022, we received a call from an employee, I believe she said her name is Tracy. She did not identify her role, whether she is a paralegal, associate, partner, or adminsitrator. She said she had our document and said we needed to schedule a consultation for $350. She did not explain the purpose of the consultation nor what we would value we would receive for $350. She refused to explain what steps Hammerle would take even though she acknowledged the detailed information we provided. She refused to explain the cost structure if we chose to hire Hammerle to assist us. Without any idea what Hammerle was proposing to do for us, we decidide to think it over. It is unreasonable to demand $350 for a meeting and not know the purpose, outcome, or value of the meeting. My wife knows Virginia Hammerle, we called back later and asked to speak with Virginia. The person who answered our call transferred us to Tracy. Tracy demanded to know why we wanted to speak with Virginia and refused to let us speak to her. On Tuesday morning, I received a voice message from Tracy, stating that Virginia cannot help us with our question. Since we did not tell Tracy what we planned to discuss with Virginia, there is no way Tracy could determine that Virginia could not help us. I shared the voice message with my wife and she said "that does not sound like Virginia, I doubt Tracy even spoke to Virginia" All in all the experience with Hammerle Law was one rude individual named Tracy, a demand that we pay $350 for an undefined purpose to meet with a lawyer, and a refusal by staff to let us speak with anyone else in the firm. The behavior of Hammerle Law was rude and unprofessional. I would stay as far away from Hammerle Law as possible.

It was truly a learning experience and I feel for anyone who has to go through this difficult process.
