Consultation with Chad went great and I thought he was going to have my back. Hired, then had one five minute conversation before he filed an answer that was lacking in the things we discussed at the initial consult as well as asking for things (like a jury trial) that was never discussed or approved. He filed my answer without conferring with me or getting final approval. In fact it was not even uploaded to me until about a week later, despite multiple attempts at contact. Genuinely just didn’t seem to care. After a week of trying to get in contact multiple different ways, he canceled my hearing prep meeting for a TRO that was happening the next day. This man wanted me to show up at a TRO Hearing with only one five minute conversation and 1 consultation under our belts. Absolutely not. I was forced to get a continuance and go three extra months with no resolution to the frivolous suit filed against me. Ate up my entire retainer after filing less than 1 page of an answer before we even got to the hearing I hired him for. He withdrew from my case after I got frustrated with his paralegal who told me multiple times she would call me back and never did. She also gave me incorrect hearing dates. She also did not seem to care. Furthermore, BEFORE the judge signed off on his withdrawal the firm failed to send over the opposing party’s discovery when received or let me know when mine was due, nor did he forward me the Notice of Hearing that was filed and served to his office exclusively. Horrible, borderline unethical practice. +1 star for filing a semi coherent answer and for showing me what a good practice SHOULDN'T do. Shame on me for not seeing through the facade. Luckily I found someone else who showed me how a good firm operates and got me exactly the outcome I wanted.
