It’s been about 7 years since I was represented by Mr. Evans but as I’m currently looking for the right lawyer for a case in Houston I’ve realized how great he was . He got me off or kept me out of serious trouble during rough times in my earlly 20s. He was informative and hardworking through it all. And I really wish I had him here in Houston .

He was assigned to represent me on a pro bono basis. After offering overwhelming evidence to support my innocence as well as multiple character witnesses willing to testify on my behalf, he never bothered to look at any of it. Instead he was more interested in taking the easy way out (for him) and making a plea deal to 'get me off'. Sadly, I didn't know much about the 'legal system' at the time to request that a real attorney be assigned to me and I ended up being penalized for a crime I did not commit while the real criminal got off without so much as a slap on the wrist. In short, don't waste your time with this jerk. One look at his Facebook page is all you need to know about his lack of professionalism. Perfect for 6th Street, not a courtroom!

Mr. Evans was assigned to a case for my friend.Typically , it is difficult getting an attorney to return a call when it's YOUR attorney, so I didn't have big hopes for him returning my calls. Not only did he return almost all of my calls, he took initiative and kept me informed since he was unable to communicate with my friend. He handled the case quickly and professionally and kept me informed along the way. Now my friend can get home on time and spend time with his mom before she passes from Cancer! Thanks!

I was not impressed by Paul Evans. He seemed more interested in wearing outlandish outfits (Think Matt Damon in The Informant). Sometimes he would dress like a 1960's Rockabilly with black horn rimmed glasses, other times he would look like a 1980's Oilman with a silly mustache. All of this would have been fine, except he was not very effective counsel. He was hired as a public defender, but I can tell you that after having him represent me, I will sell a kidney to pay for a real lawyer next time I have trouble.
