I used Jason Parrish back in 2010-2012 honestly I don’t remember the exact date, but I do remember the kindness this lawyer showed me. I had never needed a criminal defense attorney before and should not have needed one at this time. I was only in trouble because of someone’s misrepresentation of the facts & not telling the complete truth. No witnesses type situation. I was scared to death and when I realized I needed a lawyer I didn’t have the first clue where to start. I got very lucky that Mr. Parrish saw me on very short notice. As I said I had no idea how my trouble I was actually in. Thankfully I had a lot of evidence to show him that supported my claim about the people who were involved in this on the other side. He promptly went to work for me & the biggest thing he was very compassionate about my situation. He could tell I was terrified & I had never been in trouble before and very naive as far as how far some people would go. If it were not for him I would have a felony on my untarnished record & most likely would have done some jail time. He worked with me in every aspect. I certainly did not have all the money needed up front for a criminal lawyer. I never felt like he was judging me or doubted me in any way. He actually stayed with me in court the whole time as we did have to go through the booking process because I was never arrested. He got the 2nd degree felony to a class b misdemeanor. I got 3 months of probation. Don’t ever think you can not get in trouble just because someone says something. If they want you to get in trouble they prepare things to make their story believable. I never for a second thought this was possible, but it is. Thankfully Mr. Parrish believed me & went across the street to the DA’s office while my husband & I waited in his office. He handled things so wonderfully & if I had known about this site I would have posted a review sooner. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Parrish. This was a hard lesson learned & I felt like a complete fool. The last thing he said to me after court was to stay away from ——- and he said their names. He told me some people you just can’t help. Yep, all of this happened because I had been financially helping a family. They turned on me. So just be careful who you trust. Some people truly can’t be helped and when you tell them NO you can’t do anymore. They want revenge instead of remembering all you had already done for them. This whole situation made me not want to help anyone for a long time, but thankfully I was finally able to put the nightmare behind me and remember the positive. I learned a big lesson & if anyone needs a criminal lawyer I can now suggest one. I don’t know if that’s necessarily a good thing, but it is now part of my life. If your in E. Tx you won’t find a better criminal lawyer, but I hope you never need one.

I hired Jason to represent me for a felony drug charge and a felony DWI, both enhanced. I could've gotten twenty years day for day. Instead, I am serving a five year probation term and am able to keep my home and my family. It was nice, for a change, to feel like a person during this process, instead of a criminal. I never felt like he judged me or only fought for what he thought I deserved. He really went to bat for me and as a result I'm writing this to you from my home instead of sitting in a cell. In my opinion, having been represented by others here in East Texas, he is the best. He will fight for you too. I've never been happier with an attorney.
