Man only thing i can say is Michael King is awesome he did the impossible for me.. got a gun charge that was under my seat dismissed and i was a convicted felon.. there was 3 pistols in the car.. I own this man my life he did what no one else would.. he fought for me like i can't explain.. so i like to say that he is a Lil bad ass and thanks.. and yes I would recommend him anybody.. he'll give it his all..

Michael King recently represented my father in a federal case that we saw very little chance of winning. Mr. King explained everything in detail and was very honest with the whole family from the get go. He worked very hard to get the desired results and good news to a family. He doesn't give the client false expectations, but in the end you can tell how hard he worked to win the case. He is very easy to get along with and he really is here to help. Michael King was very informative and straight to the point. Mr. King was assigned as my public defender early on in the trial. He kept me informed of every possible details of events as they unfolded, and gave me realistic expectations. Michael King was very informative and straight to the point, I gave him no reason for believing me in our first meeting but he followed through, I will say this if arrested and you are in fact innocent come see michael he will get your case dropped. Michael King explained the charges on the first meeting and explained the possible outcomes. He was with me for every interview and was willing to listen to my explanations. First off, before I hired Mr. King i had another lawyer I will not mention, he wanted me to plead guilty to a charge i did not believe i was guilty of. That is when i knew that lawyer was not the one for me. I wanted someone who would throw anything and anyone under the bus just to make sure I was taken care of! Mr. King was appointed to me as my Federal attorney in 2007. I was one of his first clients I believe, he and I built a friendship over the long drawn out process that it takes with the federal court system. I was not in a good place prior to my incarceration. I did receive exactly what we wanted from the courts and for that I was very grateful. I was sentenced to 3 years in the Federal prison system therefore, I could participate in RDAP which is the drug program. I truly needed this program, I am an addict and always will be! Once out of prison and on probation as some of us do I violated again Mr. King was my attorney and this time I was given a downward departure on my sentence! Thanks to his knowledge of the system and that was with a DWI conviction just so you know. And, the last time I called Mr. King was after he was on his own and I was in a panic I had three weeks till I was off of probation and I was being accused of a dirty UA and once again with his help and the resources of the medical profession he was able to prove it was in fact a false positive and I completed the four years of my Federal probation. But, I would most defiantly hire Mr. King and recommend him he knows the Federal system and he helped me all three times and I always got lectured out of love but, he has helped me be the person I am becoming Thank You!

Michael was phenomenal with our daughter's case. She was originally charged with DWI, and ultimately through Michael's constant and professional efforts, the charge was reduced to reckless driving. Michael was supportive not just from a legal standpoint, but was always available for basic counsel and reassurance. He is truly exceptional at what he does.

While he was at the federal public defender's office, Michael King represented my son on a felony charge. Mr. King was utterly professional and compassionate at the same time. I believe he had a clear grasp of the pertinent law, and diligently applied it to the facts of my son's case. He was very focused on the trial at hand, but remembered that the event was a very stressful time for my son and his family. He explained what he was doing, answering any question that he could.
