When I first came to the office and was seeking help, Shane was my hero. I had a horrible experience with a public defender who left me high and dry at court while the public defender was vacationing out of the country, meanwhile I flew 1600 miles to be present for my court case. I called around and was recommended the office from NORML. When I arrived and told Shane what had happened and how I had spent my kids Christmas money just to show up and court and not be in violation for them to not even hold the hearing he was just as upset as I was. He listened to my case and knew he could help. Not only did Shane help me get the financing to hire them to help me, he helped give back some extra so I could give my kids their Christmas back. I knew from that second that I could trust Shane. He put me with Chase, who he thought would best work for me, and believe me Chase was awesome. Chase and Shane helped me get a full dismissal on my case, helped me give my kids their Christmas back, put the public defender who screwed me over on notice, and helped make sure I was protected from the DA and the police for retaliation. Honestly on top of being someone I would highly recommend for attorney work, both Shane and Chase are just really amazing human beings!
