I met my wife in the military and after we finished our enlistment we came to Lubbock for school. After a year, it just wasn't working and my ex and I filed for divorce. She wanted to take my son with her to her home state in the northeast. The best decision I ever made was choosing Melissa. She supported me and my family while we fought to keep my son here. Every step of the way, she explained everything and guided us in the right direction. After the trial, my son had to stay in the state. However, only two years later, my ex tried again to take my son. We went for custody this time and I am now the custodial parent of my perfect boy. Melissa will always be a special person to me and my family. She believes in the equal rights for BOTH parents. She has no problem being blunt and holding everyone accountable (even her own clients!!). It is a rough process that I don't wish on anyone, but it is necessary sometimes. I have nothing but confidence in Melissa. She is always just a phone call away.

Mrs. Simpson successfully handled my divorce proceedings. She was very helpful with all the questions that I had and the preparation of documents. All documents were filed in a timely manner and she kept me updated on what I needed to do next. I was very, very please with her services.

Every custody battle can be scarey and lots of feelings are involved but having melissa by your side makes it better she is great at what she does but also she is there whenever you need her I don't know many attorneys that are there for you like she is even after hours etc again melissa is amazing I could go on and on!!! I would recommend Melissa Morgan to anyone who needs a good family law attorney. She was very elpful on my case and very good a what she does. She always had my childs best interest at heart and only wanted what was best for him. I appreciatee all the hard work she did in my case. I was always able to get in touch with her even when she was out of the office she would always return my calls and emails in a timely manner. Still to this day if I need anything she is willing to talk to me and answer quetions.
