Tommy and his office are unethical with practice and billing. Beware, they get really creative with billing once you are not happy with their services. This team is not concerned about children being put in danger or abused, it is all about the payday. We won our case but only because we were diligent, not because we had a competent attorney. He literally read from my emails in court to plea our case. I would not recommend this firm to my worst enemy!!

Whoever is answering the phone lacks knowledge and commonsense. We called after being referred here and told the woman answering the phone a baby from my ex was expected to be born in 6 weeks. My mom told her we wanted to fight for rights and custody she than asked over and over family or crimnal law. So if the staff answering the phone doesnt have enough common sense to know it is family law would the attorney be any better. Mr. Deaton your staff and thier attitude is a direct reflection on you and you staff is not very intelligent.

Sad part about this, I told them before giving them funds. If you have no hope of getting me probation don’t take this case. I will take ple deal and do state jail which I knew would only be 6-9 months. Promise it’ll be a easy case. My back ground isn’t bad have petty previous charges. No felony. I paid $1500. No progress no update on my case no game plan no nothing. So why pay more when I’m not I’m not even getting service for $1500. Week before next court date I told him I will pay him even extra what he wants. He said no thanks. Get a court offer state jail time ,said they won’t do probation which I’m not dummy all he did was tell me a Damnn ple deal I could’ve done for free. Mind you he’s taken my other case that’s a MA. We haven’t talked about that. After that court I have yet to hear from deton law firm no updates no nothing. Every time I call it’s a they will call back & it’s beyond sad. Also these positive reviews about fake as hell. Usually people will tell you about the positive feed back instead on sentence. “Awesome lawyer” “fantastic “ this is wild.

Worst experience ever. We won our case but only because the law was in our favor because our attorney was not!! Tommy is too old to be practicing law and has a slight case of I FORGOT at every hearing. If your case is important to you then I do not recommend this firm.
