James did a fantastic job for me. Highly recommended!

I have had a misfortunate event in march for event that I need it a lawyer. Not only that I got out of detention facility in few hours but also, the whole process was unbelievably simple, easy and handled with determination and will to help me as client and I will be thankful to James Rogers and his great partner Tony Vitz for the rest of my life. I have had experience with lawyers in all kind of aspects being that I am a self employed businessman but, this is some of the best that I have worked with.

GREAT LAWYER! and a great guy. He worked hard on my case and represented me in a most professional way. He really helped me understand all my options. He explained everything to me in a way that a regular person could understand. Laws can be complicated. You definitely want someone like Tony to help you figure out your legal problems.

No one ever wakes up and says " today I'm going to jail". We make mistakes and look for those who are understanding and know how to help. Then there those who treat us like hardened criminals and throw us in jail. When I learned I had a warrant for DWI 2nd. My heart fell out and my mind was racing. Before i knew it i was in jail calling relatives left and right. If you've ever had to do this at mid night there aren't many that will answer. Unfortunately i put my parents through something they thought that I would never get out of. Both of my parents were frantically making calls one after the other. After about an hour of phone calls the only lawyers that answered my parents call were Tony Vitz & James L. Rogers jr. After being released from collin county jail. I immediately went to their office. Told them my story, they gave me advice and options what I could do. I took a couple days to think and made my decision to hire them. With a DWI 2nd staring me down and a little time that had past. I got a phone call from James telling That he got me a deal. A deal where he and Tony fought to get my 2nd DWI downgraded to Obstruction of a roadway! Please, If you find yourself in any situation where you need to find those that understand you've made a mistake and that make you feel like a human being. These two gentlemen are the ones to call.

In 2014 Tony represented my son in a criminal case. Working with Tony was great. Tony was always responsive and communicated very clearly the process we went through. His approach, while professional, was also very personal, calming and steady. There were no gate keepers keeping us at a distance...Tony often answered his own phone. I highly recommend Tony.

In August 2014, my world was turned upside down. Instead of referring others to a criminal defense lawyer, I found myself in need of one. I had never needed a criminal defense lawyer, and when faced with a life changing arrest, it was my turn. I’ve known Tony all of my life and knew I could place my life in his hands, which is exactly what I did. While some may experience Tony as unconventional, his unique style and skill set him far apart from other lawyers. I was confident in Tony’s intricate understanding of the law, but what I, thankfully, had never experienced was his creative, dedicated and empathetic approach to gaining as much knowledge and perspective of the facts as possible so as to tell my story. I believe his extensive training in psychodrama afforded him the ability to help me gain a deeper understanding and perspective of this horrible process. He skillfully, without shame, helped me stay focused and grounded while my future laid in the hands of strangers who knew nothing about me. Being a lawyer myself, I can assure you that Tony goes above and beyond what our oath requires of us. Tony didn’t collect a fee, sit back and simply wait until a plea was offered. He put everything he had as early as he could-the grand jury phase of this process. Keep in mind that the criminal defense lawyer is not allowed to appear before the grand jury. The only thing he could do was give me a voice and convey my truth in the form of a written grand jury packet. My nightmare ended when the grand jury rendered a no bill. Vulnerability is likely the most uncomfortable feeling for a human being. Tony was safe, professional, creative, dedicated, available and honest throughout a traumatic chapter in my life. While this experience afforded me the opportunity to do some long overdue work, which has led to life changing growth for which I am grateful, getting through this would have been impossible without Tony.

I wasn't dealing with any criminal cases, but I called him about a name change, not knowing they specialized in criminal law. Spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me telling me where to go and how to go about the process without having to hire a lawyer! Awesome Firm!

Mr. Vitz defended my nephew a few years back. Not only is he a knowledgeable attorney he is a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. He exceeded our expectations and cleared my nephew's name. I would recommend Mr. Vitz beyond a reasonable doubt.
