I was parked at a gas pump, and semi came through wrong entrance, side swiping and demolitioned my vehicle...the driver gave false information to not only me but the cop. It was almost like I had been robbed, the trucking company tried to just let it go.... I was referred to attorney Mark Montgomery in McKinney TX. His office was committed to getting me a honest settlement, after knowing the driver was dishonest. Mark staff was so well managed and reassured me, they would try for the best possible outcome. My case was a very complicated one; there was a criminal case going on, a civil/family case, and I was being sued. Needless to say, it was beyond ugly! On top of that, my first lawyer, despite the fool proof ammo she was given, she not only not only failed miserably, but gave the opposing council and my ex the upper hand. Long story short, Montgomery had to do some serious damage control to even let it be an even playing field. I've never seen anything like him in the courtroom!! He is calm, tactful, assertive, compassionate, aggressive, patient,... whatever he needs to be. He's a pitbull in the courtroom! Unlike anything I've seen, or have even ever heard of! Him and his team are absolutely remarkable! They gave me my life, and more importantly, my family back! I hope I never need a lawyer again, but if I do, Montgomery's my man! I have, and will continue to, refer my loved ones to him. I can't thank you enough Montgomery & team!!!

I was referred to Mark Montgomery for my divorce several years ago and I could not have been happier. I found him to be very knowledgeable and just the right amount of aggressive on my behalf in court. I found him to be an attorney who genuinely fights for his client and is very passionate about doing so. We ended up getting nearly everything we set out to get for my side and for me what was best is that he fought harder and was more knowledgeable than opposing counsel. I hired him a second time when my 21 year old son was arrested for DUI and after reviewing the facts we went to trial and Mr Montgomery was again excellent in the courtroom and fought hard and won the case, and rightfully so we thought, but I felt the same as I did the first time I hired him in being completely happy with his knowledge, ability and willingness to fight for us. I would highly recommend Mark Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery was referred to me by a friend. He was nice in the beginning, but always seemed in a rush. I hired him for a retainer of $3k for divorce which was an infidelity case. He didn't prep me before temporary hearing date. Spoke to paralegal most of the time. At the temporary hearing I was so distraught I thought we were putting in place temporary orders and it was a final agreement. The temporary spousal support was for 1 month, but I was on disability and no job. I had nowhere to live and had to be out by May which gave me 1 month. I had to negotiate with my husband to stay longer. The settlement was not in the best interest of me or to start my life over. He charged me for every email that were duplicates and sometimes never even answered. I had requested he get my husband to release the funds agreed upon and he never did anything in regards to it. Charged me anyways for calls. He also was handling my criminal assault charge which was self defense. I retained him for that too. The first appearance date he didn't show, had someone else show and never spoke to me. Then reset the hearing again 2 more times and then decided he was going to drop me 2 days before my court appearance date and had to request a court appointed attorney. He then sent in for a hearing to dropped my divorce case. The court date was the following month and I was sent to the ER the day before by ambulance for an emergency procedure and my court hearing was the next morning to appear before the judge. When I called from the ER to explain the seriousness of the situation he refused to reset the withdraw date. I was a no show for my court appearance and didn't even get to speak with the judge. He charged me for all of the withdrawal forms and apprearances to withdraw. He is not empathic nor does he try to work with you. He is by far the worst lawyer I have come across with no ethics. I'm still without a job, living on a disability check and my divorce is final in October with no attorney. I will be appealing my divorce case due to the lack of representation and best interest on my behalf. I have been advised to report to law board.

Mark Montgomery is excellent. He tells it like it is and does not give a false sense of security in family law matters. Nothing is black and white in family law; however, Mr. Montgomery gives all scenarios up front. He has been in practice for a long time and knows his way around the courts. His staff is excellent and attentive as well. Mr. Montgomery is exactly what I was looking for. I needed an attorney that was agressive, but knew to pick his battles to offer the most cost effective representation. At no time have I felt Mr. Montgomery was working on issues just for billable hours. He has delivered exactly what we hoped to accomplish and maintained a reasonable balance due for his services.
