100% the lawyer you want fighting and defending you! so thankful to have hired a competent and down to earth lawyer. God forbid I ever get in trouble again, i would hire kent again.

I was facing 10yrs TDC for 3 felony drug charges. I hired at 1st the Scott edgett law firm in Plano, which they took 15k! to retain my case and get this they went along and took the person I got arrested with to get hired by them too! which he paid probably 20k went to court and gave me a deal of 5Yrs TDC. which I definitely will not take. because, I have 3 kids and a wife out here that needs me. I fired them immediately! Asked for a partial refund, they all of a sudden changed it to charge me by the hour. I lost on that but that’s when I stumbled upon Mr Starr he immediately began working on my case and I swear to God! within a 2 days when we went up to the judge he already assured me that I wasn’t going anywhere near TDC!!! I had 2 possessions drug charges all 2nd degrees felonies. and I had prior charges Mr Starr somehow got the same DA that was trying to give me 10yrs TDC no probation and got me 10 yrs on deferred probation. I cannot express how deeply I appreciate Mr Starr and his staff for their quick response. and solved my case and the price I paid was nowhere near the edgett law firm in Plano. If anyone facing any criminal charges I wouldn’t go to nobody else. I promise I kno the system been thru it and you can just tell how hard he put his work in! made sure and gave me every single detail, even letting me read the emails between him and the DA. always answered whenever I had a questions, never held back very straight forward. got to a point where if we had to take it to Trail he will fight for me, and my freedom. Now I am a free man yea I’m on probation who cares as long as I’m with my family that’s all it matters to me at the end of the day. Retained Kent’s services for an old case involving family violence very pleased to receive my dismissal on today.

You never said the problem was complex. You said it would be written one of two ways. After several days of not hearing from you we made several calls to your office and talked to your office personnel. After several calls we finally got to talk to you. You checked and said you had found the e-mail. I offered to bring a copy by as we were traveling thru Mckinney. But since you said you had the e-mail we did not bother you. You never suggested we drop a copy by your office because we live some distance away from your office. At NO time did you ever call us. I told your office we were not looking for free advice and were willing to pay you for your time. I don't know who wrote your reply, but there's not a grain of truth in any of it.

Called him about an eminent domain award. He told me to send him docs. It cost me $28 two times because he said he didn't get the 1st one. I only had 20 days to file an appeal. Called him 5 or 6 times. He never returned my calls. I had to file my own appeal! DO NOT trust this so-called attorney to represent you.

Collin county D.A. wanted me to plead guilty to a felony DWI. Kent stood by me and my decision to tell them to pack sand. We told them to set it for Jury trial and after several jury settings, case dismissed!! It's been tough but Kent's attitude and humor almost made it bearable.
