Being a lawyer, Kent was incredibly unique to work with. He interacted with me directly, not through his office. He was very responsive when I would send him text messages or emails inquiring about the status of my case as well as other relative items as this was both a law related case and administrative case with the state. He was knowledgeable about both systems and processes, and met me directly in the hallway when I had appearances required in court. There was no awkward "saying of my name with a quizzical look on his face" like I saw many times over while other attorneys would search for their clients who they had not even yet met (!) I had met with him before I even had a summons, in his office, while he diligently took notes about my situation. Kent did not forget the particulars of my situation when they were relevant to his discussions with the district attorney. I did not have to repeat myself multiple times and I felt very much attended to and not simply "a number in a sea of cases". He worked diligently to achieve the best outcome for me, and I could tell by the way the judge interacted with him, Kent has the court's respect. He also provides you direct feedback about how to interact while in the courtroom, which is always helpful when someone is as nervous and overwhelmed as I was. Best lawyer I have worked with made everything very simple and easy for me. Help me turn felonies and misdemeanors into just a ticket with no probation and community service.
