It took me a while to accept the fact that my marriage was not salvageable and unhealthy for me mentally & physically. The process of filing for divorce was equally as unsettling because so much personal information has to be disclosed. Nonetheless, Kim Killebrew's calm & empathetic demeanor during the initial consultation gave me the confidence to proceed with the divorce. She and her legal assistant Barbara explained the legal process of divorce and what to expect step by step. While my ex-husband's uncooperative behavior made it slightly more costly, my divorce was finalized within the time frame as discussed during the initial consultation. The divorce papers were actually completed on my birthday and signed by the judge the next morning. I got my money's worth. I would highly recommend CokerLegal and Kim Killebrew.

Kimberly P. Killebrew and her legal assistant Jennifer Henson are the best. They are like the female versions of Batman and Robin, a great team that handled my case properly without grief. I couldn't asked for anyone else better... They handled my divorce gracefully and provided so much help that I'm grateful to have them as my legal team. In fact, everyone in the firm were courteous and very pleasant. From my experience, this is a family oriented firm that cares for their clients even after the case is done! Kimberly took the time to listen to my case, gave great advice on handling my divorce, and she looked out for my own best interest in my divorce case. I didn't have to travel from NY to Texas, and avoided extra costs in the case. Initially, someone recommended Kimberly to me stating she knows how to handle any situation in court and if the opposing counsel tries anything " under handed", Kimberly has plenty "tricks up her sleeves". So if you are going through a horrible divorce, Kimberly will handle your case accordingly so that NO ONE " screws" you over. I believe that to be true from my divorce case. Also, I honestly have to say her legal assistant is just as smart, caring, very reliable, and professional as her they make a great team! At this difficult time in my life, I don't think this could have be done the way it was if it wasn't for Jennifer as well, they worked hard, answered all my questions, helped me step by step and communicated all that was needed to be done with me and the opposing counsel....Dynamic duo...

I was referred to Kimberly by another attorney who flat out told me " I don't think I can get you what you're asking for but I know someone who can" I lived out of state at the time of retaining her and her staff. They were always courteous, energetic and more than helpful considering the distance between us. They kept me in the loop with every little detail about my pending case. Aside from Kimberly and Jennifer's awesome personality's and extreme knowledge of Texas Family Law their willingness to work with and ensure their client is satisfied is second to none. Like I said I lived out of state at the time of hiring them. I decided to relocate to Texas to be closer to my child and they customized a payment plan for me to assure my needs and best interest were not compromised as well as my child's. I am beyond thankful for Kimberly, Jennifer and Duane. It felt more like dealing with family than an attorney. From the initial consult thru the entire process I could not have been more comfortable and confident. Second to none professionalism and nothing short of an outstanding attorney.

I was seeking a divorce involving child custody and had initially hired Kimberly Killebrew. I was extremely disssatisfied with her services and regret hiring her. (In fact, I fired her and switched to a far superior lawyer to handle my case.) She charged me over $20,000 (for a fairly simple case) with no results except temporary orders. At one point, she charged me $1,400 for a meeting the sole purpose of which was to determine how to respond to opposing counsel's settlement offer... then she never bothered to send our response! I think that is criminal. Additionally, it was sometimes like pulling teeth to get answers to my questions. It was obvious that she did not care. To top it off, her office (Coker Legal) entered an erroneous child support amount on the Income Withholding Order as part of temporary orders which subsequently caused me to receive insufficient or delinquent child support payments. When I called the office to address this (before I realized it was their fault), they did little to remedy it, and there was no follow-through. In summary, she was difficult to deal with, she absolutely nickel-and-dimed me, and there were very few results.

Kimberly and her legal team were absolutely indispensable and effective in actioning my divorce to my full satisfaction. She and her team are confident and effective and this helped make me feel comfortable and in control of my divorce (something I never thought I would say). Even with my busy travel schedule I was always up to date and never had trouble getting in touch when it was necessary. While being an effective lawyer Kimberly and her team are also human, this humanity and empathy for their clients is a real differentiation from other lawyers who I have found don't connect on a personal level with their clients. Kimberly is a razor sharp and highly effective lawyer who maintains a humanity that allows for a deep understanding and connection with her clients. I would highly recommend her and her team for any family law matters in Texas.

Kimberly and her staff did a wonderful job. After being served divorce papers, I needed a lawyer to represent me. I went to the yellow pages and hired a random lawyer.
