If you think you need a lawyer, you do. Don’t go it alone. The laws are tricky and not everyone tells the truth about what happened. I tried to handle my claim directly with the insurance company but after SEVEN months, I finally realized I was getting nowhere and they were playing with me. Thankfully, my friend got tired of me complaining and gave me the number for Zell. I should have called them last year and saved myself a lot of wasted time. In the end, they did great!
