this was an eviction case that involved tenant declaring bankruptcy. While he eventually got the job done, it was painfully slow and communication was terrible. I can show the email threads that show this should have been completed earlier.

i was in a bad way with a very uncooperative tenant whom i had no written agreement and was refusing to leave my house, without an eviction notice. I was ever willing to get him what he needed in this area and so much more, Girling law firm made sure of that, they took great care of me, from the start, now due to their diligence and skilled personnel, the said tenant is out of my house, and we didn't even have to go to court, so far all that is left is his junk in my house, of which the team has sent him a letter to sign that he has so many days to get it out or lose it, this firm has had my back and i haven't had to worry about anything they communicated with me every time they had a process in the works and not once did they drop the ball. i highly recommend that before you move anyone in your houses or homes at least consult with the Girling law firm they know landlord and homeowner rights and have helped me out of this situation no if ands or buts about it. call them.

I hired the Girling firm to handle my eviction and unpaid rent case. The matter was prosecuted efficiently and resolved in my favor. It is never inexpensive to hire an attorney - at least a good attorney - and time is money. I feel that Girling's charges were reasonable and that they respected both my time and money. Highly recommend.

I hired marc girling for a quiet title lawsuit back in 2017. Marc girling sent me a flyer in the mail & i decided to give his services a try. I paid marc girl $5000.00. Some family issues arose so i asked marc was there anyway he could move the court case up he decided to represent me in probate court. Marc girling subpoena the wrong doctor after i gave him clear instructions on which doctor to subpoena. On the day of court he called at the very last minute to say he was not coming. Last but not least, he filed motions under the wrong estate. Marc girling did not listen to me as his client and once he had my money he became very hard to get in contact with.

Billing was horrinble. Case ended was informed I had a credit after account had been reconciled. A few weeks later, they informed me there was no credit and I owed more. Why would they tell me account has been reconciled, had a credit, then a few weeks later to bill me additional amount!!!!!!!!! Then to top it off.... 4-5 month later, they charged me again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never communicated or notified me prior to charging my card. Transparency in billing is horrible.

Marc is money hungry, no good had no clue how to handle tenants, he actually was afraid of simple tenants. Just wanted more money, dragged his feet and slower than molasses to get anything even started. His hired help didn't know how to submit documents, had to always ask marc first as they were not trained either.

I hired this attorney to handle a eviction that I had already started, the tenant filled for bankruptcy so I pay twice Bankruptcy+eviction for $1850 each (no flat rate), after a week the tenant left the property, after that lawyer filled eviction termination and that was it, it took me +4 months of painful back and forth asking for refund to have my money back, refund came for 2K only (I was told delay was for covid), I won't hire this lawyer again.

I spoke with Mr. John Porterfield of Girling firm. He described services the firm could provide. He said he would send a contract for me to review and sign. They provide services and charge for them only after the contract is signed, and by the way, what credit card would I be using. He said don't worry, they would not charge it until I signed the contract. The mistake I made was giving him my credit card information. After reviewing the contract that evening, I decided not to use the firm. I told Mr. Porterfield that the next morning. I was surprised to find my card charged $1,750. I called him to discuss, but he will not return my calls.

Hired for a simple case of tenant eviction in October 2018. Did little to nothing to assist with eviction. Called and emailed multiple times to get refund of retainer but will not respond. Secretary says he is "aware of the situation" and has "given him urgent messages". Better Business Bureau has gotten no response from him. So disappointed that I hired him and am having such difficulty now. I would not recommend this company.

I was stuck with a tenant who was not responsive after lease expiration. Mr Girling was able to handle evacuation case and resolve the issue. They keep me updated about the case status and fought for me in the court.
