They could not help with the case that I have

This lawyer was recommended to me by a friend, I don't know if I miss understood her or what, but he is by far, the worst I've been/ had to deal with. I've called multiple times and I do mean multiple! No answer. His paralegal/ or him say they're going to call me (due to covid 19) so we can go over my case and what not. I said okay, we set a date and time. I decided to take the day off from work due to me having a busy job. I didn't want to risk missing the call. Not once did I get a call! This has happened more than 5 times and I don't even know where I stand in my case. They say all this "oh we will work hard for you and be with you every step of the way", thats a lie. Dont get me wrong, I understand we are going through a pandemic right now, but come on. When you say you're going to call, call! At least on the 5th time around I would not recommend him to anyone!!
