The guy has Alzheimer's or something, he definitely shouldn't be practicing law. It's sad to see lawyers with mental health issues still practicing

I was in a criminal drug case back in 1985 and hired Nolan as my lawyer. I was 18 years old, and had no experience with lawyers. Nolan, was kind, understanding, and was able to get me out of my problem without jail time or probation. I paid a fine, and cleaned up my life. He helped me when I really needed it and it changed my life. He was very reasonable on rates back then and I remember owing a little bit and a .01 cents. I made my payment and taped a penny into the card thanking him for a job well done. I would like to think he still has that card with that penny. I would hire him in a second if I ever needed help again. I am 50 years old now, and after 32 years I am glad to see he is still practicing.

I heard him and he assisted my ex-wife in getting full custody of my two-year-old son for 17 months over false allegations that she made of child abuse. The idiot actually gave me bad legal advice that led to me being charged with a felony. I can represent myself better than he can. Showed up to court I'm prepared and seemed lost and confused by everything that was going on the whole time. I tried calling his office every day for a month trying to ask them questions and they never would answer the phone or return my phone calls. Ended up firing him and hiring a real lawyer....

After paying him quite a bit of money (close to being paid off), I find out he can get me 6 yrs TDCJ. Best he can do. I decide to abscond because I had a wife and a baby we were raising at the time and I lived 4 hours away anyways. He said if I did that, it would make things a lot worse. My charges were from 2006. This took place in 2011 after I had straightened up and started a family. In 2012 I got picked up and transferred to Orange County where a court appointed lawyer got me 6 years anyways. Same Judge and D.A. So that means that either getting a lawyer doesn't help (which isn't true), he's crooked, or he sucks. You be the judge. ;)
